Hi, everyone! I have been out of the Nintendo area for about 10 years now, so there have been many updates since I was last a player. I am having some nostalgia moments, and I have been wanting to play my old Gameboy games. I have tetris attack, pokemon blue, silver and gold (I miss my Pikachu one!). Can I still play these on any of the new gaming systems? My mom is loaning me a DS but I'd like to buy something for myself.

Thanks!

You can also download most of the big GB games on a 3DS.

(Except pokemon)

I am just worried that I can't find a good one.

Did I also read something that they are coming out with some of the original games into a 3ds version to buy, even for pokemon?

And the Square/Enix games (I want Final Fantasy Legend)

Your best bet to play old Gameboy cartridges that you may have is to get a Gameboy Advance, DS and up won't play Gameboy games.

You can get a 3DS or 2DS and download old Gameboy games that way. Thing is though the Virtual Console games you want may not be on the service and may never be due to various factors.

The other option is through emulators but you will have to Google how to do that as we can't say anything more on that subject.
