Topic: Black screen and confusing message - help

Hi all

Just got a new (used) wii, Powers up fine but then is just a black screen and says in white letters

*load systemmenu
load HBC
load installed File
install/load File
settings"

and wont let me do anything else - can anyone help me to fix this or is it a dead cause?

Sounds like it's trying it install or load the homebrew channel but whoever owned the wii before didn't install it correctly.
Sorry to say but I don't think that can be fixed...

Your best bet is to take it back to where you got it from and get your money back. You can try contacting Nintendo but more then likely they will charged you cause its modded.
