Topic: Ad Block

I have ad block but I don't run it on this site (It gives me the thumbs up)
how come I see images of Nintendo Life telling me that I should turn off ad block anyway even though I don't have it on?

Because those images aren't ads.

Yes but they are coded to show only if I have ad block on which I do not.

Obviously they aren't, if you're viewing them, and I'm viewing them(and I don't have ad block on either I think)

Be a bit weird if it was programmed to act like an ad; the people it is intending to target wouldn't be able to see it.

If you're seeing those, you have adblock on still and don't realize it, or you may have thought you set your filters correctly to allow ads from NL and failed. Make sure your adblock is set to 'disable on nintendolife.com' and you should be good to go.

I think it is an error with nintendolife, I guarantee that it is off throughout the site.

Edit: Agh! I'm an idiot. I have a different extension that apparently messes with the site into thinking its ad blocking, that or it actually is. Anyway problem solved.
