Topic: 3DS System Transfer help

Ok guys, today I bought a new 3DS with Super Mario 3D Land pre-installed and I want you to help me with a little problem I have.

I already have an aqua blue 3DS wich has been used since 2011, what I need right now is to transfer all my data to the new and shiny red 3DS I just bought. Everything's normal at this point but I need to know something... Can I keep the pre-installed game that came with the target console for when I use the source system again? I mean, does the data transfer from one console to another and viceversa? Like swapping their souls? The ID is swapped too?

I hope you can help me with this problemo, I'd really appreciate it.

Basically what happens is your Aqua Blue 3DS (the "source" system) will be reformatted and data from it will be transferred to the new 3DS (the "target" system). From what I read, pre-installed software should not be affected by a transfer. I assume the ID will be transferred too. I'm not entirely too sure because I did all my transfers before the NNID was added to the 3DS.

Well, from my understanding the 3DS was depending on the serial number (or ID) that's in the back of the console for everything that has to do with the eShop and that sort of things. So... do the serial numbers swap? "Source" system's serial number goes to "target" system and viceversa?

In that case I'd be able to re-download the game that came with the "target" system within the "source" system. I'm kinda worried because I don't want to lose the game.
