Topic: 3DS - SpotPass Error

so, I recently just turned on tetris Axis to play a game, and the following message appeared: "SPotPass is OFF because the SpotPass received data usage limit has been reach." What in the world does this mean?? is it just for this game, or all of my games, and what do I do?

I had that error too. I hadn't used the game in a while, so I guess my system got overloaded with SpotPass updates for Fever mode.

Odd, I never would've thought that gameto have any use for SpotPass. Neverreally playeda lot of fever mode, though. Wonder how that effects it....

They were supposed to update the Fever mode items over SpotPass. In the beginning all the SpotPass update did though was remove the items we started with, and I never really liked the mode so I never bothered to check if they released new items or not.

I think the only thing that was supposed to have SpotPass updates were the last 3 Fever mode items, but I just checked and they're still the same Bomb, I-tetrimino, and Time items they SpotPassed us on day 1, so I still don't get what the point of SpotPass was supposed to be for this game, lol. All they did was give us all 3 of them, then they took 2 of them away and confused everyone for a few weeks, and then they brought all 3 back and never appear to have changed them. There was no reason to use SpotPass unless they were going to change the items — might as well have just had them built into the game and never bothered with SpotPass.

But why the strange Spotpass error if they didn't change anythings... If there's too much Spotpass that make it goes "off" why did nothings change ? Or is it because HUDSON SOFT CO. close (even if it's published by Nintendo).

My guess is they keep sending the same SpotPass for the same 3 items every single day, and it must not be managed well if it doesn't just overwrite the last SpotPass rather than bogging everything up. It was probably something they never tested since you apparently have to avoid playing the game for a long period of time before the error arises.
