did you try turning it back on? what exactly is happening with it, can you describe in more detail?

Ok, I was cening it beuase it was all sweaty, and then when I went to get something, I went back, saw that it was turned off, turned it back on, and then the title happened.

Remove the battery for a few minutes, and put it back in. Hopefully it works!

Nope, tried turning it on when it was on the charger. Still didn't work. Also, what screwdriver does the 3DS use?

before you open it up, i'd try contacting Nintendo. they may have something you can try before opening your 3DS.

I had the same situation you had BoundbyEarth, and I also need help resolving that issue, does anyone know how to fix it?

Apparently it has something to do with the boot up process. Call NOA to get it repaired, or at least know what to do.
