Just finished Tower of the gods on WWHD, which I believe is about 2/3 of the way through the game. Luckily, I haven't stopped to do much exploration and sidequests, so I'm hoping that'll take up quite a bit.
As much as I don't want Zelda to become like a Skyrim, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't envious of it's giant map and, apparently, hundreds of hours of sidequests.
As a kid, I remember me and my friends spending months on Lttp & LA. Obviously, being young has something to do with that, but the game being short can't help but take away from the epicness I love about Zelda (My favorite series)
Having played about half the games in the series, I'm just curious as to which one is the longest in the series?
Well I have only played The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening and Ocarina of Time. I have never timed them but OoT felt the longest to me.

Skyward Sword took me forever, but I did take about a three or four month break in the middle of it when my son was born, so that may have had something to do with it.
For a blind run I would say Twilight Princess is the longest Zelda game to beat because the dungeons are pretty long, and there are tons of heart pieces to collect.
