Trine 2: Director's Cut. I got it for 25% off, but it still wasn't worth the purchase. The game may look nice, but the game is repetive, the story is boring. Heck, almost everything about the game is boring. The controls are bad with everything but the Wii Remote, in which they're decent. And then, there's a big exploit in the game that takes away any of the challenge, and removes whatever RPG feature the game had.
Interesting choice. I bought it when the Wii-U lanched, and although the graphics were great and the first few levels were fun, I quickly grew bored. I got stuck on one puzzle, and simply quit playing and have zero interest in even continuing.
My worst game purchase was Thrillville: Off the Rails for DS. That was when I was little and thought every game I bought was going to do so much more than it actually did. Like, one time I bought Banjo Pilot on GBA because I thought it was going to be a realistic flight simulator. As for downloadable titles, probably the DSiWare version of The Oregon Trail. I bought it because I really like the PC version, (We have the 5th edition) but it wasn't working on the computer I had at the time. Nintendo Life gave it a good review, so I thought it would be a good replacement. Boy was I wrong. You really don't get to make any decisions or anything. You just walk, and walk, and walk, until it forces you to play a boring minigame, or talk with someone like Abraham Lincoln. It was too easy too, and there was no bad voice acting to make fun of.
Myst for 3DS, I downloaded it when it was still expensive on the eShop.
It's so bad, the developer sent me a slightly less bad game in compensation.
On the bright side, every other bad purchase becomes less bad by default thanks to that traumatic experience.
@Moorpheel If you're still interested in trying Myst, Cyan just released RealMyst: Masterpiece Edition on Steam and the Mac App Store. At the moment it's a little unpolished, but it's still a really game. Cyan's obviously going to update it a few times later anyways. Of course you could also buy any of the older versions. They would be cheaper, and play pretty much just as well, they just aren't as pretty.

I didn't consider it a "purchase" before because I asked for the game when I was 7. Little did I know what I was getting into...

How could you not love this masterpiece of a soundtrack?
I think that might actually be the worst thing I have ever heard in my life.
Sega should have included it in the Sonic Boom trailer along with Skrillex. It would've fit perfectly.
Was going to put Sticker Star, but @ZeroZX_Dev reminded me of the horror that is Sonic Chronicles. You'd think a Bioware RPG starring Sonic would be amazing after Mass Effect (or at least decent) and it turned out to be a repetitive fight-fest with chalkboard scratching for music. I'd honestly rather play 06.

Buffalo wings are a gift from the gods themselves.
Both DS and Wii Guilty Gear titles I've bought (the names are escaping me). I love the unique characters and system but the gameplay just wasn't there for me.
Not me, but my little brother bought Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku.
