a while back i posted a thread talking about your rarest game you have. but this time i decided to broaden the field a bit, so what is the rarest item you own.
for me i own two things: 1. 2 (thats right 2) "Save Blinky" Bart Simpson dolls. these are actually considered one of the "Holy Grails" of Simpsons Collectables. One sold on ebay for 1000 big ones, and with the higher publicity now, i can sell them for higher 2. my less rare of the two, i own the original Nintendo Power Strategy Guide for Super Mario Bros. 3. it was one of the first strategy guides ever made, and sells for about 30 bucks on ebay

1 out of 50 Abercrombie Hoodie but my actual number i think is 27 of 50 im not sure though, my most rare Video game possession is nothing, its probably the Ultimate Shooting Collection for WII.. lol probably not that rare
I don't think I have anything really rare. I have the third edition of Asbjørnsen and Moe's "Norwegian Folktales". Don't know how rare it is, but it sure is old
EDIT: I just checked the old, dusty, epic-looking, ready-to-fall-apart-anytime Bible in our living room; turns out it was printed out 200 years ago. o_O That’s probably pretty rare.
I have a Backloggery now! Nothin' fancy, but feel free to add me as a friend. [21:15] Axoloth joined the conversation [21:16] Axoloth: I love you, dead chat [21:17] dead chat runs away [21:17] dead chat has left the convers...
An 1872 leather bound "medical" book. It contains great gems like cures for baldness that involve rubbing what are now know as toxic poisins on one's head and other very strange things. It's easily my most prized book.
@Axoloth - We have a bible like that too from Germany. That's probably my rarest item ever (even though it's my parents, not mine).
My rarest video game is the Ocarina of Time: Master Quest disk you got if you preordered Wind Waker. That was totally the reason I preordered as opposed to just bought it, because we had sold our N64. Looks like it goes for about $20 - $30 on average with Ebay. I would never sell it though.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
it's sad, but probably my rarest thing is the old R.O.B. i found when cleaning out a church on a mission trip one time. i guess it's not that rare, but it has historical significance, and it looks cool on my desk. and one of these days, it's gonna be worth something. not that i'd likely sell it, though. it just looks so imposing staring down everyone that comes into my dorm.

I have the 2nd issue of Game Informer somewhere at my parents house. But it's in rough shape, the front covers pretty torn up. I think the cover featured Toejam & Earl.
My dad has a bunch of rare money, such as 1970's quarters made out of actual silver, a roll of $2 bills, and some half-dollars, among other things.
I have a Herbie the Love Bug plush I bought from the Warner Bros. store when I was a little kid buried in my basement somewhere. I didn't know it before, but it's supposed to be extremely rare now.
I also have a framed poster of Ice Age 2 signed by the animators themselves, which I won at an auction. I still have it hanging in my bedroom.
Mickey Mouse: Magic Wands! for the Game Boy Pocket. I don't know anyone else who owns this largely obscure action-puzzler. I bought it at Toys'R Us when I was a kid.
I have a Spyro 2 CD case that came with the game, but I'm pretty sure other people have one already.
I have an ROB that I had since New Year's Eve before 2006 began, but I barely used it much.
I have a couple of rare cinema posters (one of which is pretty rare because the film was changed from what is advertised upon release). I've still got them rolled up in their tubes, unfortunately - I should get them framed at some point and find somewhere tasteful in the house to put them up.
