Topic: Your 'Must-Have' 7th Gen Games? (Wii, PS3, 360, DS, PSP, PC, Mobile)

I forgot Ouendan 2 and Daigasso Band Brothers DX, also I know I listed games I haven't played but I do read reviews that are to my liking of a game

I was pretty specific when I mentioned that it was games that you have, though. I'm not looking for second-hand opinions, here. I just want to know what, out of the games you have, you consider the must haves of the 7th generation.

@Otaku: look, if it's a 'must have', then clearly you must have it (or have had it in the past, long enough to put it through its paces at the very least). anyone can write a review that can make the worst of games seem playable, but the proof is in the pudding — there's no way to know for sure if a given game is for you until you've given it a run on your own :/

Well my wii doesn't work disks, but I know they are must haves, but I see what you mean, I'm just going from what I know sorry if I was causing trouble I'm good now

I'm gonna take this really seriously and only include a few games for each system.

Wii:

• BIT.TRIP COMPLETE
• Cave Story
• Super Smash Bros. Brawl

DS:

• Alt-Play: Jason Rohrer Anthology
• Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
• Retro Game Challenge

PC:

• Portal
• Puzzle Agent
• VVVVVV

Before you question whether I am serious about/sure of my choices, let me tell you that I just spent the better part of half an hour deciding on them. I even had WiiWare and DSiWare as their own separate sections at first, because there were so many games I wanted to include. In the end, I eliminated those categories in order to stick with the best of the best. Note that games are listed alphabetically for each platform, as I didn't want to rank them.

@Oddy - You may have been overthinking it. While I wouldn't say more is better, if these something you absolutely feel should be on that list, there's no real reason why you shouldn't put it on there. It's up to you, but I wouldn't limit myself so much if I were you. I do know the feeling, though. There were a few I soooo wanted to mention, just couldn't.

And argh, Retro Game Challenge was what I meant to put on my list, not Disgaea DS. Only one Disgaea needs to be on that list.
