Dunno if a thread like this already exists, but this this is a thread to tell what your most recently completed game was, how you beat it, how you felt when you beat it, etc.
So I just finished Final Fantasy IX for the first time (and right before the New Year, too!) and man, was I happy when I FINALLY killed that bastard Necron. It had taken me about 5 tries, all of which he finished me off with Neutron Ring. I only had Vivi and Eiko still alive (my party was them, Zidane, and Steiner), and they just BARELY survived the Neutron Ring that followed his frustrating Grand Cross attack, and I had Eiko cast Phoenix and Vivi Doomsday (All my characters had Dark-nullifying/absorbing gear), which finished him off once and for all.
SPOILERS!I watched the ending sequence, and it almost brought tears to my eyes (what with Eiko's adoptive family, Steiner and Beatrix coming together, and Freya trying to get back with Fratley). However, there were some things that were left unclear to me after the credits, such as whether or not Kuja was still alive, why Vivi had children, and who the speaker was during the ending's monologue. I looked it up, and it so happens that Vivi was the speaker of the monologue, and so subsequently died after the fight with Necron. I... it's so... sad... My favorite character of the game, too./SPOILERS!

Ufouria. It was extremely weird, yet extremely fun. If you like wacky metroidvanias, then I recommend it.

Batman Brave and the Bold on Wii with my son. The game took me by surprise, I gotta admit I really enjoyed it.

I finished the DS version of Batman the other day. It's fairly short, but fun while it lasts.

Not only did I beat VVVVVV last night, but I found that darn giant, multi-colored, flashing, glowing, crying, depressing-as-in-making-Captain-Viridian-sad-if-he-stands-near-it-for-too-long elephant in the room, and I have to say, that was moving.

Age of Zombies. Great game, that was.

MySims SkyHeroes earlier this week. I was disappointed by the gameplay, the writing (which had been a major point for me in other MySims games I've tried beside the original) and the lackluster ending. Thankfully, I finished the final mission on the first try with the gold medal.

Last night I beat Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribulations. Quite a great ending by the way. The way I did it was by extending my pointer finger in a certain individuals face with such style and class until he couldn't take it anymore.

NP while I dont recommend buying this game unless you are a hardcore Batman fan or you find a really good deal on it like a used copy. It can be finished in a few hours but as a rental title it didnt disappoint. My son rented it from Blockbuster online and we finished it in a few days the only reason it took us that long was cause he got a few games for Christmas and was playing those as well. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did Slapshot.

Agreed. Loved everything about it, and I got it for a buck, too.

Just finished Battalion Wars 2 today. Always liked the concept in the first game, but the controls just didn't work and I would constantly get stuck. BW2 however, with pointer controls, plays like a dream.
