Topic: Your gaming tattoos

I don't have any tattoos and don't intend to get any, just not for me, but I was inspired (not to get a tattoo, just inspired) today when I saw a guy in shorts with a Sonic the Hedgehog tattoo on the back of his lower leg, and it wasn't just some discreet little thing, this thing covered most of his lower leg. He also happened to be wearing a Sonic T-shirt.

It just made me really happy that people are still willing to celebrate our gaming icons in such a fashion, and it made me wonder how many others have committed an expression of love for a gaming character to their bodies like this.

So have any of my fellow NLers gone as far as a prominent tattoo to show their love?

I follow ZeldaInformer on my Facebook feed, and they share pictures of tattoos that people send in. Some of those are pretty creative!

I have thought about getting the Pokemon Energy symbols from the TCG on my back sholder area, but I don't have that kind of money and don't know if my Wife would like it lol

Also if I ever get to work on a Zelda game I have always told myself I would get the Tri-Force tattooed on my left hand... but that will probably never happen lol

That's one I would want. But the problem with hand tattoos is that they are hard to cover up, which can make finding employment problematic. Although if you got it done in UV ink....

I think half the reason I don't have a tattoo is that I want as few identifying features as possible, in case I need to commit a crime (always pays to think ahead).

Main reason I remain a cleanskin, but if I were to get inked I'd probably get the triforce or a metroid attached to me.

Oh good, it's not just me being strange.

I'd also be interested in getting Manny Calavera from Grim Fandango, but white ink just doesn't look that great to me, and I can't leave him unfilled in, I'm too freckled.

My old friend got the triforce on his hand. It was wasted on him though, he's only played like 4 Zelda games and doesn't know squat barely about the ones he's played. Any misinformed Rumorlife moron knows more than he does.

But LOL @ "they can identify you with your tattoos if you do a crime" being brought up. Thanks for the advice, I'll use cover up when I shoplift now.

I've got some work done on me but nothing gaming related, I wouldn't want something as typical as just a logo or a character in the pose you've seen on the cover every time you pick the case so that leaves me having to get a bigger piece with a lot of design and time given to it but I haven't got enough enthusiasm for any specific game/franchise for that amount of work.
