Who all will be watching the game awards? This and the Doce Awards are pretty much the only awards shows I care about, but we have fun with it. Here are my votes... I’m obviously a bit bias.

@Octane Sorry if it seems pointless but I was curious to see what everyone was going with, especially with not having enough to buy every system. Also, for some reason even when I search I couldn’t find that thread. I must have overlooked it. Again, sorry if it’s a problem

Also, with the 101 comment, I mentioned I’m a bit bias honestly. Didn’t want it to be just about my votes though anyway.

@link3710 I have to say, I haven’t gotten to play it but the art for Cup Head looks great. Anything that resembles old Disney catches my eye

@Whopper744 That's why I suggested we may as well use the other thread instead to list our favourite games of the year. Especially if the end result is going to be mostly the same. Picking your own winners from the Game Awards nominees will always result in a very biased list unless you played most of the games that are nominated. And I don't think any of us have.

Unless you want to do something like PushSquare's PlayStation GOTY awards, in that case, I'd be okay with that. That would be biased, but Nintendo-only on a Nintendo-centric forum, so it doesn't matter in that case. That makes a lot more sense to me IMO. Even I'd be willing to set it up if people would want something like that.

@Octane I personally think that could be pretty cool. Would open it up a bit more perhaps.

Actually totally forgot about TGA until I saw this thread (I've been busy with my new job & my new Switch!), so it'll probably be the first year I skip out on it.

I'd really like to see it mature in it's format though. New game announcements & musical performances are cool and all, but they really need to cut some out so every award, no matter how small, can be presented on stage (that, and they need to have a more concrete set of awards. It seems like half the catagories get replaced every year). That said, I usually think they do a pretty good job of representing the entire industry.
