i used to watch reruns of lost in space as a kid, i could never watch the movie though.
quantum leap was pretty good, i haven`t watched it in years, but i do remember the main charcter also plays the captain on enterprise.
which leads me on to star trek, i watched new generation and voyager. mainly voyager because i had a huge crush on geri ryan (7 of 9).
for those trekie fans, there`s a star trek convention at excel in london in october, which should be good. they`ve billed the 5 captains to be there along with other cast nembers.
i don`t watch much sci-fi anymore, just a bit of anime now then, but that`s about it.

It doesn't get much better than that !

Chris Eccleston is the best Dr. Who.

Actually you're right dude, Christopher Eccleston was my favourite, he had just the right amount of charisma and lines like "Doesn't that just scare you you to death!" and "Fantastic!" were my favourite of that doctor, sadly he didn't hang around because he only stepped in to help revive the series. I never truly liked David tennant that much, well ok i liked him but not as much as Matt Smith.
Like most people, I did start watching Dr Who with series 1 of the new series, I can't claim to have watched that much of the classic series, although I've bought a few on DVD in the last few months like Spearhead from Space, Terror of the Autons, Doctor Who: The Movie and The Five Doctors.
For those who're interested in Dr Who, you might be interested to know about a few things I own that some of you might be envious of. I was given a Human Dalek Sec action figure and photo autograph of Human Dalek Sec, both signed by the actor who portrayed him in the series 3 eps Daleks in Manhattan and Evolution of the Daleks, Eric Loren. Plus I was also given a copy of series 3 vol 2 signed by Eric Loren. My Uncle had connections with this actor and I think they were also friends and since my uncle lived in England he was able to give my Aunt these awesome collectibles to me on one of her trips overseas.
That's not all, I recently met John Levene, who played Sergeant Benton in the Classic Series, along side Jon Pertwee, the third doctor and He signed my boxed copies of Spearhead From Space and Terror of the autons (note: He signed the DVD cover art inserts, NOT the box or DVD cases themselves). He was so awesome to speak to, as soon as I presented the DVDs, he exclaimed how so many of the actors aren't alive anymore, that's when I asked if he knew Nicholas Courtney, who played Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, had passed away and it turns out he actually went to the funeral himself and made a speech! I'm not sure how close they were in real life, but they were on screen together in plenty of Dr Who UNIT-related stories.
Anyway, as much as exciting it is to talk about all this stuff, I still can't claim to be a big Dr Who fan, but it's just awesome to get to meet actors from one of my fav shows, that have acted on it in the past.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that i've also met Paul McGann and got a picture with him, plus I got him to sign my Copy of Doctor Who: the movie, which is surprisingly good, I asked why it never picked up after that (that was, until the revival) and he said he didn't have a clue. The movie certainly got people watching, but as to why it never came back until the 2005 series is a mystery to me.

Firefly followed by Babylon 5 then Stargate and finally Star Trek. I dislike Deep Space 9 however because it was a rip-off clone of the much better written Babylon 5.

i forgot to add red dwarf. it`s more of a comedy spoof than actual proper sci-fi. but it`s still hugely popular, spawned nine series and a planned tenth on the way.
