Man. EVERYONE hates Jar Jar Binks, eh? I liked him. A lot actually. He was supposed to be weird and annoying. I thought he was funny.

General Grevious is probably the most pathetic Star Wars character ever. He may have been cool in the books and comics, but in the movie, he just reeked of so much fail.

Woah woah woah. He lost to Obiwan by luck. If that gun wasn't lying around he would've owned him easily, cause lets face it, you can't beat a cyborg from an ancient warrior planet with four arms. And the only thing wrong with him was that his iron plate that protected his lungs was crushed in a battle with Mace Windu, causing speach/breathing problems.

Mace Windu and C-3PO are the only ones anybody cares about. Boba Fett might've been cool too had he not been an angry brat in Attack of the Clones.

Actually, I thought Mace Windu was pretty lame and C-3PO is just an annoying British snob.
I don't understand the obsession with Boba Fett. He was in the movies for like 10 minutes total and then he died. Jango was actually more worthwhile, and they made a good game about him (Star Wars: Bounty Hunter)
I actually liked Jar-Jar Binks...

You trying to start something? If you knew more about the star wars universe aside from the movies you would change your mind. P.S., he dosen't die. He's saved by a fellow bounty hunter named Dengar before he got eaten. Read it up.

I did know that, but everyone knows he should have, and basically did, die. They just brought him back to life for the "extended universe" because everyone loved him so much.

@StarWolf-It was destiny. After all, it is a prequel. Out of all Star wars movies, Revenge of the Sith is my favorite. My least favorite movie was Attack of the Clones. It is the only Star wars movie I actually do not care for watching again.

Which is why he fails. The fact that an apparently universally-feared, four-armed, supposedly near-invincible extra-terrestrial cyborg warrior dies in such a pathetic way proves his lack of worth.

Hans Solo. End of. Though a special mention must go to Princess Leia's Bikini in ROTJ

What's this bit for again?

Reala

Favorite episode, Empire Strikes Back.

Jango Fett. I dont know why he had to die in such a lame manner in such a lame movie, but I thought he was the best part. Plus he is responsible for Boba Fett who also is awesome

Favorite episode: Empire, hands-down. None of the prequel trilogy can hold a candle to Empire, and it was always the best of the original trilogy anyway.

He died after a long, energy draining battle. He lost only because he was shot in the heart with a gun. A lot of people died in Starwars like that and they were still pure win, take the for example, oh, let's see, MOST OF THE JEDI. My case rests that being killed by a weapon after a long battle is not fail, being killed by the force is not fail, but dying from a single lightsaber slash from a 1 second duel is fail cough Obiwan cough.

theblackdragon is right though. Empire is best. As a kid I liked Jedi best, but that was before I could appreciate the tragedy in empire and because I liked all the muppets

He didn't die...read the thread.

@StarWolf: it was a major plot point, and you could even say that Obi Wan became more powerful after death in that he could continue to aid Luke all unfettered by his physical body.

edit: 'You can't win, Darth. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.'

You prove a great point there, but you still got to admit it looked demeaning in a sort.

@starwolf. He dies because he knew he HAD TOO. By dieing he became more powerful and was able to help luke more. Plus by the time Obiwan and vader met they were both masters. They were not going to show off. It was more a battle of wits than anything. And Obiwan won by a long shot because he knew of being connected to the force and how to show up as an apparition later. The sith did not know of that yet

i edited my above comment, but you replied before you saw it, StarWolf, so here's the immortal line again: 'You can't win, Darth. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.' It had to happen in order for the story to play out the way it did. Jedi do not fight for glory or to 'look good' on the battlefield; that's a Sith move.

Well, first of all, Obiwan gave up that fight because he's a pussy. And it's not the fact that Grevious died from a blaster, it's the fact that he's supposed to be amazing and all this, and he didn't do much of anything. He spun four lightsabers around like propellers, and Obi-Wan just shoved his own saber in there and stopped it. And then he proceeded to beat the crap out of Grevious while fighting like a moron (i.e. trying to punch a cyborg in the face) The point is, for someone as supposedly "feared" as Grevious, he sucks balls at fighting and everything else

My favorite of the original trilogy is Episode VI. Everyone likes V, but I thought that was the worst of the trilogy. Episode I is my favorite of the new movies, and of the entire series, because of Qui-Gon and Darth Maul.

In order:
I
VI
III
IV
V
II

Han Solo is the man.

There can be no debate.
