I forgot to add Chrono_Cross
He's slowly becoming the next Bankai Jr. I love em. I'd switch his name to 'Arrogant Gibson' if I could. Seriously, him and I practically have the same taste in platformers, and both see eye to eye based on how poor of a platformer Rayman origins truly is, and how severely underrated that masterpiece of a platfomerWario Land Shake it! IS. Plus, anybody who digs Mega Man is pretty rad in my books.

Mr.Trill
As my favorite NL user Ryno_Choryzo put it, he keeps it TRILL.

Woooaah, I'm my own person. Waltz and I just have this struggle of disagreeing as of late. Which is weird, yet fantastic and enlightening, lol.

But yes Waveboy, no one will ever understand our knowledge of fantastic platformers. They're all baffled at the fact that Shake It! is the best platformer on Wii and we just laugh and laugh.

(By the by, you totally have to play that tubular tartar sauce that is Super Mario Galaxy 2!)

@Arrogant_Mel
I know, I'm just teasing. As far as Mario Galaxy 2 goes, I'll finally be diving into it next month. The last 3D mario I finished was Super Mario 3D land and really, it left me feeling a bit mixed. Easily the most bland and unimaginitive 3D mario to date. Yet it had great controls, solid level design and felt like the truest 2D-3D Mario transition. But once again Nintendo is borrowing too many elements from their previous mario games instead of doing something entirely new and at this point, especially with the NSMB series it's become a beaten canvas and needs to stop.

But seriously, Wario Land Shake it should win an award for the Wario UFO saucer and Boxing Glove Wheelie Tilt controls alone! Even the submarine title controls were good fun. I mean I've owned about 18 consoles(including handhelds) now and just when i felt like I've seen it all, this brilliant masterpiece comes out and suprises me with it's fantastic use of innovative tilt controls + everything else.

I've 100%'d WL 1, 2, 3, 4 and Shake it. and after playing shake it.....I honestly don't even feel like the others(aside from 1, which is fantastic and completely different) are worth playing. 2 & 4 weren't too shabby, but 3 especially was a complete disaster! Anyways Mel, I'll let you drink a little more...I look forward to hearing you cuss out your gold digging hot model of a wife on the tele'

Ironically, Shake it! Is the only Wario Land besides that awful DS game that I felt wasn't worth playing. It wasn't bad, I just felt it got stale pretty quick.

@WaveBoy

I agree, 3D Land was good fun but it didn't live up to the standard and originality that its predecessors set. Honestly, all of its aspects were so, how would you say it, subpar to its predecessors that it was still good. Galaxy 2 will definitely get that mediocre taste out of your mouth, lol.

Did you really 100% Shake It? I'm literally at 99% and cannot for the life of me complete all three of the Shake King's objectives. It's like... the pinnacle of platforming difficulty for me. Seriously. Yoshi's Island pales in comparison to it.

Obviously you haven't had a chance to play Donkey Kong Country Returns yet or your opinion about the best 2D platformer on the Wii would be different.

I've 200%'d Returns and still find Shake It! to be superior.

That basically sums up my experience with NSMB. Wii. I think it would of been more refreshing for those who didn't bother with NSMB on the DS. Wario Land Shake it on the other hand was far more creative and daring in comprison to that minimalistic 'n stale reshashed lazy attempt at a mario sidescroller. It doesn't whatsoever capture the magic and originality of 1, 2, 3 and World. Again, NSMB.2 is easily the worst offender....

I'm just suprised that Nintendo would actually let this crap slide. 4 games that take place in the same universe, while using the same visual asthetics, worlds, music, SFX, you name it. I guess you could say I'm not too big of a fan of New Super Stale Bros. The Wii U sequal should be the last and that's that.

Waveboy is right. Shake It! is a breath of fresh air especially when compared to the uninspiring New! series.

@Chrono_Gear
Yup! I 100%'d shake it. I can safely say that doing so was more challenging than practically every single 'tough as nails' NES game I've ever beaten. This includes Ghosts 'n Goblins, Adventure Island, Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom and Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. No joke. Mega Man 10 on 'Hard Mode' was another that was devilishly difficult. Wily's Stage 2 had me Screaming harder than Vegeta preparing a Final flash against Cell! But even so, Shake it takes the crown as being the most difficult.

Anyways, to fully appreciate how well crafted Shake it truely is, people really have to try and complete the objectives....And sadly, most people just completed the main game, labeled it as being too short and called it a day. They completely missed out. Fools.

@CapnWaffles
Nope, still haven't played my copy of DKCReturns yet. But I'm betting it still won't replace shake it or even Klonoa for that mattter. Yet I'm realising now that Klonoa sort of won be over, more so with it's fantastic dreamy soundtrack and surreal environemnts. It's a fun game no doubt(if a little easy) but those 2 things greatly enhance the experiene making it absolutely enchanting and whimsical....Definitly one of the most unforgettable Wii experiences I've had period.
