-Beyond Good and Evil is AMAZING. -Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn has some of the best turn-based SRPG gameplay ever, with a fantastic story and top-notch writing. -Chrono Trigger blew me away with its enormous story mode with multiple endings, which was remarkable for a SNES game. -Earthworm Jim 2 is hilarious and has some great and varied gameplay. -Final Fantasy VI has one of the best casts of characters in videogames. -Metroid Prime Trilogy (if that counts) has 3 of the most atmospheric games i've ever played coupled with a perfect mix of exploration, puzzle-solving and action. -Resident Evil 4 is incredible all around, and the most chilling game i've ever played. -World of Goo is a terrificly addictive puzzler with simple yet deep play mechanics with an extremely fun art style and catchy score. -Super Smash Bros. Brawl has probably the best replay value of any game ever made, and never gets old with friends and with tons of content and a level editor and some of the most finely tuned controls in gaming, you can't go wrong. -Okami is absolutely gorgeous and has very lovable characters, and while i love the Zelda games, and it takes a lot of cues from Zelda, it also does a lot of things better than Zelda (such as integrating the "side-quests" into the main story).

For years it was Secret of Mana, with a close runner up of Final Fantasy 7 (this if we're judging solely on affection for the game rather than objective quality), now it's hands down the Wii version of Resident Evil 4.
I can't do just one, it's impossible. Most I could narrow down was to three and even then it feels wrong to leave others out. These games stuck to me in such a way that I was sad being done. Genuinely sad. All I can pick up right now and play over like it's the first time over and over again.
Hard question, I'm torn between Golden Sun that I love still today and Sonic Adventure 2 that brings back so many memories of so many hours spent on A-ranks and chao breeding.

I love you and I don't even know you.
my favorite game is golden sun by the way
Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
I've played way too many games to narrow it down to just one. I suppose my favorites would be...
Single Player: Majoras Mask, Metroid Zero Mission, Castlevania SotN
Multiplayer: Times Splitters Future Perfect, Counter Strike, Jedi Academy
Isn't it amazing that Majora's Mask is in the conversation for most people? That game was rushed and made in like a year. Amazing. Meanwhile, Duke Nukem Forever lives on... in court.
