Critical hits......What can i really say?
We all experience it's cold, tender touch while we experience it's hot scorching burns. It heavily relies on luck to see if you get a crit. or get your favorite Pokemon crit'd
I made this thread to basically tell our experiences of critical hits and the Good/Bad stuff we experienced from it...
Was Lad Luck pulling the strings to help us win? or did she took away our winning streak on the battle frontier?

Your ''Stories'' don't have to be yours.....I'll explain mine....
I watched an entire series of videos that had a black background while having ''Death (2,3,4....Depends on video) in white letters on the thumbnail. It was a Nuzlocke death montage and i swear.... Critical hit deaths were rampant in those videos... About 30%- 50% of those deaths had the ''A Critical Hit!'' message when the Pokemon's health reached 0.
But i did managed to win some battles while getting some unnecessary critical hits....But it's better than nothing!...i guess.

This thread is basically here to tell your Happy, cherry-pop stories or Horror, unfair stories about Pokemon.....
......From critical hits......

Does it have to be Pokémon? Because I have some pretty unfair experiences in Fire Emblem with critical hits (and hits in general).

once I was on 1% chance of getting a critical on FE:A and got it!
there were some cool ones in Pokémon but those are rare, like when I was on 1HP and pulled off a critical to manage to barely win.

I hate when you are trying to weaken a Pokémon to capture it, feel that you need only one more hit to put it in the red, and the hit is critical, so you kill it.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

just remembered a funny one!!!
on the first battle on Emerald I got critical OHKO'd in the very first tunr of the first battle
the one against a Zigzagoon

I generally hate crits, even when they work in my favour. It's a random factor, and random factors are useless for strategies.

The only crits I liked were in Grandia - they were a separate strong attack instead of an uncontrollable random one.

I usually always get pointless criticals (the opponent would have gone down with that attack even without the critical) or get criticalled during the worst times ever(I have the advantage but a critical ruins my game plan) so I'm not a big fan of them.
