I like threads like this!

Favorite game overall: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) — I will go to my grave proclaiming this as the greatest game ever made. Maybe other games since have captured more of my overall time, and maybe other games since have had better gameplay mechanics, story, or graphics, but no other game in the history of games has actually kept me up at night thinking about it, distracted me in school thinking about it, haunted me so much with its music or made me want to be a video game character as this game did. I go back and play it about once a year (I recently did a LoZ Timeline play through, where I played every LoZ that I own, in order, and this is still my favorite).

Favorite nostalgic game: Super Mario Bros. 3 (SNES) — This game just takes me back. When I think of the definitive Mario experience, it's this game, and this game only. The world map blew my mind when I played it first. Being able to go back and play the same levels again? Brilliant! The music reminds me of playing at my best friend's house, with his mom bringing us sandwiches up in the room, taking turns as Mario and Luigi ... pure childhood happiness.
Favorite stress/anger relief game: Saints Row 2 (X360) — When I get cut off really badly by someone in real life, I can't chase them down, pull them out of their car, and beat them to death with a crow bar, but I can in Saints Row. When I'm feeling really evil, I pop in SR2, turn on Pedestrian Wars, hop in my attack chopper, and mow down everyone.
Favorite relaxation game: Sim City 4 (Mac) — It's a game I don't have to babysit, where I'm not competing against anyone, and I can't get killed by a zombie or werewolf. I zone, and I watch the people build. I follow them from work to the store and back, and then I provide entertainment and protection for them. I can leave it on, go make a sammich, come back, and everything is just fine.
Favorite game to play with friends: Mario Kart: Double Dash (GCN) — No game has given me more satisfaction in a group setting than Double Dash. Every Mon-Wed-Fri, my friends and I would go to my friend's dorm room, and we'd have a 4-player DD sesh. All 32 tracks, 10 laps each, crazy items, and GO.
Favorite game you didn't own: Counter Strike (PC) — My first year in college, this was THE game. Some guy set up a dorm-wide CS server, and many a test were failed because of this. My roommate and I took turns playing, because my computer was sucky, and my parents wouldn't get me a better one knowing I'd spend all my time playing.
Favorite game that kept you playing through the night: The Sims (PC) — This could easily have been my "guilty pleasure game" as well, but it was the first game that I actually spent all night playing, on a school night, and I didn't even realize I had stayed up all night.
Favorite OST: Tie between The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (GCN)
Biggest Disappointment: Grand Theft Auto IV (X360) — Never have I looked forward to a game so much, bought it on launch day, and then returned in a week later. The game was garbage, and it turned me off GTA for ever (not counting the classics, like Vice City and GTA III).
Favorite nostalgic system: SNES — Not my favorite system, but definitely the one that reminds me of my youth.
Going back to play old game...AAAH MY EYES system: PSOne — The block hands, awful motion, blurry textures ... yuck to look at, but still fun to play.
The game that unleashed your inner psychopath: Tie Mario Kart Series and Saints Row Series — Nothing makes me more angry than playing any Mario Kart on 150cc. The game is so cheap, it's infuriating. I punched the wall once and dented it. I told my wife I was playing with the dog and hit it with my elbow ... Saints Row just lets me do awful things to people that I can't do in real life, like burn them with a flamethrower or beat them to death after rear-ending me. The things I've done in that game ...

BONUS CATEGORY
Game that most brought out your inner nerd Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (PC) — I found my friend playing this game once, and it looked fun. He let me play, and it was fun, but then I saw him running around with a clan. I had to join too. There was an initiation. Three tests to determine if I was good enough to join this online clan. First, I had to jump on these posts without falling (this was a room in one of the maps). Then, I had to run through an obstacle course in a certain amount of time. Finally, I had to duel 1v1 against an established member of the clan. We bowed to each other (hit "crouch") and then battled. When I beat him, I was allowed in. There was a ceremony. I was so proud.
