So sad to hear about his passing. I remember him from the days of WCW before he came to the WWE as Takers Father/manager. One of the greatest managers of all time. I hope they add him to the HoF.

Well sad news for Ric Flair and family. Ric's youngest son Reid Flair was found dead in his hotel room. So far no cause has been determined but he did have a history of drug abuse. http://www.wmbfnews.com/story/21829867/reid-flair-dead-ric-fl... My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

That was actually the first thing that popped into my mind when I read the article.

Deaths in wrestling really is a crazy deal. Sometimes i'll watch old WCW tapes that i have, and it's like "he's dead now, he's dead now, dead dead dead". And with a very few exceptions (such as Paul Bearer) it always tends to be from overdoses or heart problems caused by constant pill-popping.

For as crazy as my beloved Roddy Piper can be at times, his rants a bunch of years back about "The Sickness" connected with professional wrestlers (how they work themselves like crazy, take pills to ease the pain, take more pills to wake up, etc etc etc) is so damn true.

I know what you mean. I have a co-worker who last watched wrestling in the mid 80's to early 90's he even met Iron Shiek and Don Muraco in a restaurant that he worked at. Anyway we will get on one of our wrestling conversations and he would be like oh remember so and so and I would answer yeah shame hes dead. Than my co-worker say really? Followed by oh what about so and so which again I will replay yep hes dead too.

And I dont know about you but this goes for the ones retiring now like Shawn Michaels for example or even ones that are seein less and less in the ring like Taker and Triple H but for some reason these newer younger guys like Punk, Daniel Brayant and even John Cena just cant keep me hooked like the the older SUper Stars could. I mean its been months since I sat down and watched Raw, or Smackdown and been even years since I watched TNA.

Well its that time of the year again WRESTLEMANIA!!!! Whos watching it and who do think the winners will be?

Rock/Cena: I am hoping the Rock but I think due to his acting schedule it will probably be Cena
Undertaker/Punk: Undertaker all the way
Triple H/Brock Lesnar: I think it will be Triple H this time around.

I'll be watching Wrestlemania tonight for the first time in 2 years. My predictions are the same as @Tasuki's.

As much as I would like to watch WM, there's no way i'm shelling out $70 for the PPV. I did watch the pre-show with the Miz vs. Barrett match for the IC title; was cool to see Miz win the belt with the Figure Four.

As far as the big matches, I agree with Cena and Taker both winning. But I think the HHH match could go either way, especially since Hunter is IRL focusing more on the backstage/business side of the company nowadays anyway, and basically only works 1 or 2 matches a year — so the "forced retirement" stip would work well to put some more heat on Lesnar and Heyman.

With the exception of Mark Henry coming out on top, it's been a fairly predictable PPV so far. I didn't see that one coming at all.

Yeah all my predictions were right.

Pretty decent WM. I figured pretty much on the outcomes but still was good. As usual the Taker match was the best one.

If you didn't watch it, you MUST catch a replay of tonight's RAW. Seriously. One of the best episodes in YEARS, all because the crowd in the Izod Center was absolutely nuts.

Does anyone actually like the Miz?

Miz is decent. He's actually gotten pretty good in the ring, and while I originally hated him, he's grown on me.

But Barrett is tops.

oh my god, i can't get over this crowd for April 8th's episode of RAW. they're hysterical! so many fun chants, dancing to Fandango's stupid music, SOSing the Cena/Mark Henry match, dang it must've been fun as hell to be in that audience.

So I don't know when or why but I really like Daniel Bryan now. He totally went over with me.
