I know I wouldn't be able to be away from my dog for long. What kind of dog is it? Mine looks like this, only 1,000 times more pretty:

My dog is half-dalmation, half-blue heeler. He's a cutie, but he's dumb as a post, so he's not changing anyone's mind on the intelligence front. I love him to death, though. That's one of the hardest things about leaving. Is it hard to leave family? Yes, but they know you'll be coming back. Does my dog know that? I don't know, I just know he looked the saddest when I was leaving...
Excuse me, I have something in my eye.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Neither. I'm terrified of being near both of them! I was once almost attacked by a dog, and I still haven't gotten over it.

Oh, I'm not saying that it's a bad thing for anyone to get a pet (dog or cat) to keep them company. I've even known a couple nice cat-ladies, and other people who treated their dog a little too much like a human, and it's just amusing and endearing, if anything.

@PhoneixSage: Aww, like this?
I hear you. We've had to leave our dogs before.

@pixelman: Give him another dark patch over his other eye and you've got a near-dead ringer. And I really don't know what else to say, just that I miss him a lot and can't wait to see him again.

It won't be during Thanksgiving Break, probably, as I'll most likely be heading to Texas for the week, so it probably won't be for another 3 months...

I'm going to do my best to pull through it. I did last year, and it was hard, but it's all the sweeter when you do return. I'll just probably have to keep away from threads like this for the time being. Too many memories. So adios, thread, this'll be my last post!
