The thing is, be confident, and observant (but don't ask "Hey! Are you reading a book?" Obviously ). And keep her talking! If you haven't read the book, ask her what its about. If her body language is telling you to buzz of, then just move on.
Remember, that if you are rejected, ten-to-one its not because there is something wrong with you. She might be worried about something or already in a relationship.
