It's got some of the worst/bootleg/ripoff's games you will ever see, also, it helped create Angry Birds, the most overrated game ever...........but if you look hard enough, you might fin that gem somewhere.

First console I purchased with my own cash was a Turbo Grafx 16. Then I bought the Turbo Duo and loved them both to this day. So of course I was very excited when I heard about the NEC PC-FX. This was gonna be the 32bit machine to compete with Playstation, Saturn and it turned out to be a FMV machine with a nice controller. I was so let down that I bought a Genesis and CD unit and played that until Saturn was reasonable.

I haven't really played much consoles (mostly Nintendo systems, PCs, and the occasional Playstation 2/3/handhelds and Xbox/360), but some of the worst ones I can remember playing was those LCD games that came with Burger King kids meal, McDonald happy meal, or from some store. They were all hard to play with cheaply made buttons and their limited frames. Low quality ear piercing sounds didn't help either...

I remember years ago my parents got me this VR helmet like system with a controller attached to it and a preinstalled LCD racing game on it (the only game you can play on it). I remember the VR helmet was very large and cumbersome to put on and keep on my head. It also made what was already hard to play game even harder with a blurry screen and poor viewing angles (you had to put it on just right to see the game somewhat). That is probably the absolute worst system I've ever played.

Atari 5200, CDi, Virtual Boy. Those are some of the legendary stinkers.

Game Gear wouldn't have been so bad if it didn't burn through batteries so fast...

No one goes out looking to buy bad consoles, it just happens. The worst console I've had would be either my PSX (overheated and broke while I was playing the first game I bought for it) or my original Game Boy Advance (no back light and Nintendo released the much improved GBA SP only a short year later). I would have been better off without either one.

For one I am not even going to mention the PS4 since I havent even seen it let alone played it. Who knows it could be the greatest system ever.

So now that I stated that I would have to say the worst console for me would have to be a tie between the DSi and the PS3. The PS3 imo was overpriced compared to the Xbox 360 and didnt have the exclusives that I wanted. The fact that they removed the backwards compatibility was the nail in the coffin for me. Also I have noticed games just run better on the Xbox like Bayonetta. Compared to the PS and PS2 I was disappointed by the PS3.

For the DSi it was the fact that they removed the GBA slot for a freakin camera. Yeah there was DSiware but to me that just didnt interest me enough to trade in my DS for a DSi.

I won't deny that. But at least with Nintendo you can count on the innovation lasting the console's entire life-span. But I'm just stating my opinion afterall. I don't want to start trouble.

Looking back, I've never owned a bad console, I guess I'm just good at judging that way.

Pretty lucky to have never owned a bad console personally, though gamecube is definitely my least favourite of what I owned I definitely wouldn't say it was bad.
