In your opinion, what was the worst video game console of all time? And what's your reasoning for choosing it as worst?

The Game Gear. And only because the system I had did not last very long. Other than that its really hard to find any faults in a game system because they all bring me enjoyment.
For worst home console: Philips CD-i
If it had the only truly bad Zelda games, that should be enough.
That and it was the size of a VCR and the controllers were all awful.
For worst handheld: Tiger Telematics Gizmondo
It was the least successful handheld console of all time, and there were some weird conspiracies surrounding the company's executives.

Someone has to say it so I will be the first. While it had some pretty damn impressive features back in '97 (Internet Connection and a Touch Screen!!!!), Tiger just didn't know how to make the games. All the games while a large portion would be called 3rd party games (Duke Nukem and Resident Evil 2), where all made in house...which is a bad thing. Add to that the games could be good if the screen wasn't so blurry (Jurassic Park is unplayable because of it). It had some big titles (Resident Evil, Duke Nukem, Fighters Megamix, Sonic Jam) they just weren't good. Still I plan on collecting all 20 of the games that came out for it so far I have 5 (plus the rare internet cart) and if you want to now the best game(s) for it so far I am enjoy Lights Out and Duke Nukem 3D and I can't wait to play Williams Arcade Classics whenever it shows up. But seriously don't buy one trust me you will spare yourself a lot of pain.

No, the reasons are'nt obvious. In fact, the Vita is my favorite handheld of all time. As for the topic, I've been lucky to not play any really awful consoles, no CD-i or Virtual Boy for instance, so my weakest systems, though not all that bad, would be either N64 or X360.

The only reason people think the PS Vita suck is because of the sales, just like non Nintendo fans think the Wii U sucks cause of the sales. The reason is stupid to not like a Handheld or Console. The PS Vita has really well games like Uncharted, Soul Sacrifice, Gravity Rush, Little Big Planet etc...
