I'd say Waluigi. Being an anti-Liugi counterpart, I was expecting more from this guy than being playable in the party games or the racing games while adding nothing notable. I'd take my claim back when they decide to give Waluigi a bigger role in the series like Wario.
Jigglypuff from the SSB series, he is just plain rubbish! Sonic the Hedgehog, over the years he's got worse and worse! Any fairy in Zelda, it grates on my nerves when it says: "HEY, HEY, OVER HERE, LISTEN, HEY!!" every dam second while your in a fight.

I agree with Waluigi, completely pointless. Wario seemed like a forced addition when he was "created" but at least he has seen some action and the games have been pretty solid. Still, I don't get how he fits into the Mario universe. He's supposed to be an evil Mario yet he's never part of the main Mario games well except Super Mario Land 2 from what I know.
Aero the Acrobat also sucks. He's just plain badlly drawn and there's no excuse for that.
I agree with all the Sonic additions. It's like SEGA has felt the need to make enough characters that everyone can relate to.
Bowser has also become really lame. He's become a joke. At least with Gannon(dorf) he doesn't just keep coming back and fighting the same link because it's a different time period. Bowser is all talk and he keeps coming back to lose. His body also constantly deforms to different sizes. I'd love to play a Mario game where you lose at the end and then the next game the world is completely run down.
I though Shiva from RE 5 was annoying but she was ok Waluigi is just like a filler Daisy was the "NEXT DAMSLE IN DISTRESS" until she just became a Golf Partner for Peach
