Topic: Worst gaming site?

GameSpot reviews are simply too late, too often. IGN and others almost always beat them to the punch.

I tend to use IGN, NintendoLife, 1Up, and GameFAQs.

GameFAQs just for the FAQs though, the forums are probably the worst forums on the internet.

Hmmm, well, Gamespy used to be a good site to go to, but I can't stomach to go there now. These new guys they have are atrocious. Gaming journalism? Not really. I stopped reading them when there was an excess of joke topics.

I find a lot of stupidity on most video game websites. Yet I also get news from them. I usually go to something like n4g.com as most game sites are annoying if you try to look at all they have. Taken in little bit of info most are good enough.

Going out of gamig sitres, any of the spanish magzazines:

Hobby Consolas: It was good years ago, but now their ratings barely get less than 80 of 100.
Nintendo Acción: Same as above, but just add them a lot of childy Pokemon coverage.
And so on...

When it comes to the sites, that vote is leaning towards IGN. The Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl board, the ones I mainly enter suck ass. Most of the people in the Wii board hate the Wii with a passion, not to mention the Wii gets constantly trolled. So yeah, IGN is going downhill, but I wouldn't call it "bad" yet.

I wouldn't know what the worst gaming site was, as I don't visit 5h1te. IGN is my first stop, always has been, always will be (no matter how much they annoy me sometimes, they are just so uber, you can't ignore them). Nintendo Life is next, then Go Nintendo, then 1up on occasion.

Well I don't really visit any rubbish ones so I don't know. I use NL for everything Nintendo. Then IGN for their great previews and videos and I do read the reviews there as well. (Not sure why IGN gets so much hate,is it just because their a huge corperate site?? I really don't think that their reviews are that bad TBH). Thats about it really, if I want to see more about a paticular game I just search google for various reviews ,usually Gamespot,1UP,Eurogamer,CVG and the Telegraph. The news and stuff tends to be the same on most sites and IGN usually get it first so thats where I go. NL is definetly the best though and is the only VG forum I would use.

IGN, not too much hate, I just despise the amount of ads that you have to wade through just to see content. Every page you turn you have a dummy ad page. Plus, they only have content from absolutely new content that was just released and the games are not even for sale. I wanted to see what they had for PSZero, I had to dig clear into the game profiles. At lease KH 358/2 Days was listed on the front page. IGN is not horrible about hating Nintendo any longer though. On thing that makes NL great is that they review all sorts of games, new and old, it makes coming here on a daily basis easy. I can always see new content, not 64 previews/reviews of the same games and 50 ads taking over my screen.

Yeah. They have great forums in the sense that they're very active, and they have a really nice user-review section. But the site's garbage other than that. Very inconsistant reviews that are almost always late, some nonexistant (they never did review Kirby Superstar Ultra...) late news, insane moderators, annoying "thumbs up or thumbs down" thing on comments you post--it's a very problematic site.

I love IGN, actually. Not a fan of their review system, but their reviews usually reflect my sentiment for the game. Nintendo Life is certainly the best site for Nintendo coverage (esspecially considering it's not run by fanboys), however.

For me, it's IGN.
It would be good if all the forums didn't have so many lifeless Wii haters and RE4 haters. Also, Some of the staff members hate the Wii system so much. They don't like Nintendo like they used to anymore.
