Topic: Will Santa Claus ever die if so who will be next as the Christmas Character delivering gifts?

So Christmas will be here soon and I got this crazy question so I was talking to my mom yesterday and I was asking her did she think Santa Claus would ever come to a end and the story telling of Santa coming to your house to drop presents down the chimney and to the Christmas Tree sense he is very very old, and my mom said she really did not know and that it was really interesting to think about and ask other people so that's what I shall do. So what do we tell the little ones? Santa has been around for so many years and I know he isn't real but what do you tell little children who believe he is real and when you tell them how old he is how will it make sense that he is so old and when will he die, and how can he still be alive? Will someone ever come up with something like Santa has a son somewhere or a helper that will be the all new Santa or even a Mr's Hot Santa?!

But to the children they think he is real so how should we tell them who is and if your good he will come. I mean he is very old so, do you guys think we need someone els to deliver the gifts to our children and change from Santa to something els when they catch us putting the gifts around the tree?

I remember when I was small I would ask how old was Santa and my parents could not come up with anything

You know, I'm sure there's an anime series based around the concept of Japanese schoolgirl taking Saint Nick's place. If there isn't, I'm sure there will be. The Japanese are too weird to pass up an opportunity like that.

How bout we worry about Thanksgiving first and then worry about Christmas. Or does everyone forget that Thanksgiving comes in between Halloween and Christmas?

I don't think Thanksgiving has like a Famous character like Christmas does which is Santa.

I think its about time we got ourselves a female Santa, just sounds right. And if they do have Santa Retire from delivering gifts to the children or he dies, I wonder how would they do that. I mean I enjoy seeing Santa every year at the Holidays but that keeps coming to my mind will Santa ever disappear.

Santa Claus die? eh? I thought that elves and dwarves had eternal lives or at lest according to JRR Tolkien they do. I mean, Legolas, Gimli and Lady Arwen live on for thousand and thousands of years like the eternal Pine Trees.

Your knowledge of Tolkien-lore is completely wrong. Elves do have the curse of living forever, however, Dwarves do not. And Legolas, Gimli and Arwen don't live forever. Arwen chose to become human to be with Aragorn, and therefore died after the events of the Return of the King. After Aragorn died, Legolas and Gimli sailed away from Middle Earth, to the Undying Lands in the West. Silly ignorant person.
