Topic: Why do you play video games?

The games you play, you play them to pass the time, when you're finished, you can do something else instead.

I don't play games to pass the time, I play them because I enjoy them.

I don't understand this thread.

Same here. I love Barbie games.

I play because they're fun and I enjoy going on adventures that would not be possible in real life.

I find games to be a fantastic release. Also, agreeing with SuperPeach that I enjoy the stories and adventures that are not possible in real life, or even movies.

i actually play pretty much my older games just to pass time if i'm really bored and haven't got anything better to do. When a new game comes along, i play for enjoyment and interaction. Some games i play only because they have such an awesome soundtrack, so i play the game just because of the music.

videogames are probably the reason I never started taking drugs. While all my schoolmates were getting addicted to drugs and having Pot parties I was staying home playing my Nintendo. I'd rather be addicted to videogames than something that's gonna ruin my life. People think I'm weird that way but that's how I party. Order a Pizza and have a Game a thon.

This should be used as the shut down to when people say video games are bad for you. Anyway, I play video games when I'm bored or when I want to do something exciting and don't have tickets to a theme park or water park.
