Topic: Why do people want Nintendo dead?

They are closed minded and selfish. They aren't open to exploring innovative hardware, and they don't want other people who are open to it to have a chance to fully experience innovative hardware.

For me it has to do with people liking one or two Nintendo IPs but not wanting to buy a whole system for them.

You forgot to add Xbox a lot of people want them to die off and go away and Sony for the win....I'm with you I still don't get on why idiotic people want people Nintendo to die off . I understand Nintendo does things way to slow and the Wii U ain't all that great (Its unique). I'm just telling the truth here. My point here is I still don't get on why people want Nintendo to die off ... I just don't get it.

I think most of the games websites have done damage. (Probably not that many individuals in the scheme of things).

Don't think vocal individuals make much difference.

Vgchartz forums.... there I've seen A LOT of people that WANT Nintendo dead....

Because less Nintendo fans = More Sony and Microsoft fans so I think we all can agree that Sony and Microsoft would have been better with more money without Nintendo

Anywhere that's not IGN or Youtube...you know, places where people are actually capable of some sort of civil discussion and not just people trying to get attention by being controvertial...

If Nintendo died, I would outright quit playing games.

I'm not convinced these places really exist.

At this point I've lowered my standards of "civil internet discussion" to "any discussion where, if such things were said in real life, the people involved would only be maimed rather than outright killed in some horrible manner"...

I don't see the point in any of this, this comment in itself is pointless

From what I gather it's one of two reasons:

A) Certain people want Nintendo games on their console of choice.(ex. Super Mario 3D World on PS4 etc.) But that's just silly. I'd like to play a few Playstation exclusives on Wii U and 3DS but I'll just go and buy said Playstation console.
B) People want to watch the world burn.
