I'm just wondering. I hadn't really paid attention until the "unofficial" hammer was thrown down. Why would a topic be an official (whatever topic here) thread?
I'll take this opportunity to remind members who've joined our ranks since the officially official word was issued that only NintendoLife Staff should create "official" threads.
with no real search function for the forums and with duplicate threads popping up all over the place, people are probably trying to keep discussion of certain things in one big thread so we can all get the most out of talking to each other about the same topic in them. it's no big deal except that 'the official blah-blah-blah topic' may also read as 'the officially Nintendo Life sanctioned blah-blah-blah topic', which isn't always true, lol. :3
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3

[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
I hereby authorise every moderator and admin to replace "Official" with "One-and-Only" in topic titles. HOWEVER, it must be accompanied by a Chesney Hawkes video.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
Another thing that irk's me slightly is people who put their username in the topic title, I'm probably playing Devils advocat here as the most popular thread in NL history was one such thread. It's nothing I will lose sleep over but I don't see the need for it when it has the username of the person who created the thread right next to the topic title. It's a little self sanctifying if you ask me.

I agree, but like you said nothing I'm gonna lose sleep over.
theblackdragon just closed my thread becuase she said this thread already covered the topic. She didnt even give me a chance to defend my thread, and since there is no way to PM her i figured i would type a response to her last post here being this is where she redirected me. She even claimed it was just in her opinion. How can you close a topic without even giving me a chance to respond back?

Theblackdragon isn't a "he." And they did the same to mine. (I then deleted it btw.) It's no big loss. There's no reason for duplicate threads.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
