To make sure you actually read this, Nintendopurist, I'm going to make this post into a list format.

First you need to know what type of games your into. If you're buying RPGs just because you hear they're going to be/are good, then basically wasting money faster than Ebenezer Scrooge.

Second you want to read reviews. I have a feeling that you do that already, but you need to read reviews more carefully and see what the intended audience is for the review. Some websites review games for a particular crowd when the game is on a certain console. Take, for example, RPGs and the DS. Most reviews for DS RPGs (Wow, did I just type that? I like to type in a human language, not l33t 5p33k...) are for the serious RPG gamer since the DS has a ton of them and picking out the best of the best is going to be harder.

Third, you want to save up your money for the best of the best. If a slightly-better-than-average game is coming out two weeks before an guaranteed-to-be-way-better-than-average game is coming out, save your money for the second game.

One Last and EXTREMELY Important Thing: It's gonna take a lot of will power to get over this, and I can't help you with that. You gotta find your own personal help for this. Mainly because I'm lazy and don't really wanna type anymore, but I'm sure you can do it.

Thanks given to Xkhaoz for that one avatar.

Don't worry! I stopped trading-in games over three months ago! I just got sick of losing all my (Nintendo DS and Wii Disc) games and then upsetting myself when I couldn't play them. Right now I'm working on expanding my collection, and I count ten DS games, one Wii game (I'm too devoted to DS and retro gaming right now, but I so would like NSMB Wii! Oh, and others!), 13 and 3/2 WiiWare games, 24 NES games, 19 Super Nintendo games, 15 Nintendo 64 games, 1 GameCube game (if only I could find it! I lost it during the move! It would've been more GCN games, but my bro wanted every other game in the collection...including Mario Kart Double Dash!! I wanted that one!), 14 Game Boy Advance games and a handful of Game Boy (Color) games...oh, and two Pokemon Mini games! My collection's still big, and I was never in a situation in which I had no games to play!

BTW, I didn't count my Master System, Mega Drive, PC, PSP and PSone games since it's a Nintendo site, and I am Nintendo Purist, but I will say this: Total VC Sonic games = 7! Lucky 7! LUCKY 7! I know it's irrelevant, but...I got over my problem, and that's what matters.

Only games i ever sell are games that I just absolutely do not like playing at all. If I have fun playing a game, even if I've beaten it 100 times, I won't trade it in, but that might just be the collector in me, I like to keep stuff.

Flandre Scarlet, she's cute, she's colorful, she can blow up entire cities, she's also a vampire. Start running sparklepants.
