That comment wasn't really related to this topic, I was just mentioning that I thought Mark Hamill does a much better job as Joker than Heath ever did. I thought his performance was a bit overrated, as good as it was.
1. Biff Tannan (Back To The Future Trilogy) - The only bully I don't hate from a movie. He takes over Hill Valley in the second film and has one short tempered great grandfather in the third film.
2. Dr. Evil (Austin Powers series) - The funniest villain to ever come on the silver screen.
3. The Joker (Batman series) - An insane villain that lives up to his name.
4. Pennywise (It) - Scary enough for a made for TV horror movie based on a scary enough novel.
5. Lord Voldemort (Harry Potter series) - Murdered Harry's parents and killed Cedric in the fourth movie. A truly terrifying villain we love to hate.
Other villains include Jafar from Aladdin, Scar from The Lion King, and let's not forget Darth Vader from Star Wars, the ultimate villain of them all!
Ledger's Joker is up there, but Bardem's Anton Chigurh from No Country for Old Men beats everyone in the freaky effin' creepy disturbing scary departments. D:
Also, if you count the Sherlock BBC series as movies (there's only 6 and each is 90 minutes long), Moriarty was pretty awesome. Loved Andrew Scott's quirkily weird take on the character.
Ledger actually did that on his own. It wasn't scripted, he improvised it in his brilliance. It's truely a shame he commuted suicide. Who know what roles he could have played.
He didnt commit suicide it was an accidental overdose of cold medicine and sleeping pills because preparing for the Joker role caused his sleep habits to become all irregular.

I actually thought he was pretty great in Skyfall, which means I need to see this movie since you thought he was infinitely better in it.
Also, add Bane to my list from 2009 and, uh... take out Claw from Inspector Gadget 2.
That's only if you intend to kill yourself. OD'ing can also be caused by misjudgement of self prescription, or murder if you're precribed too much of what ever drug by somebody else.
anyway, my pick's are the creeper from jeepers creepers, agent smith from the matrix.
How do we now that it was on accident and not on purpose. I'm not advocating for either and would like to know if there is some evidence that it happened one way. I thought it was unknown which one it was. A source to read would be great as well.
