Topic: Who was your most hated gym leader in Pokemon?

My most hated has to be Sabrina from Red/Blue, it took me forever to beat her when I was little, simply because I didn't know what psychic's weakness was.

Wattson in Emerald. Unless you'd chosen Mudkip at the start and evolved it, this guy hands you your ass on a plate repeatedly unless you levelgrind like hell.
Sabrina in RB was kinda broken, too. Psychic's only weakness back then was Bug, which had no powerful moves, and the game wrongly stated that Ghost-types were strong against them (they were actually ineffective in Gen 1, and the only Ghost-types in the game were Ghost/Poison, which Psychic is strong against)

None. Because I never played Pokemon! HAH!!!

Probably Brock in Yellow Version.

Mainly because I always had a Pikachu and Pidgey, and didn't like Nidorans.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Whitney from Gold/Silver/Crystal yet. Ive lost count of how many times my ass got whupped by it's Rollout attack, and the Scrappy ability it had in HG/SS made it even worse.
The other G/S/C leader that drove me up a wall was Jasmine. Here Pokemon's levels were obscenely high at that point in the game, and that Steelix of hers was just mean.

Other gym leaders that made me very angry:
RBY: Sabrina, Brock (Yellow only)
RSE: Wattson, the psychic twins (I forget their names), Norman (Well, at least until I realized I could interrupt his Focus Punch attacks by attacking during the charge. Heh.)

Yea Whitney was a b****.

Wattson. Definitely. I hated that son of a zigzagoon. Even with a Combusken, beating him was hard because: 1. Thunder wave...nuff said. 2. Stupid shock wave. My usual sand-attack strategy would not work because of it's guaranteed 100% shot. Plus, his voltorb would always use selfdestruct on my strongest or second-strongest pokemon.

What about Mankey?

Oh Arceus, definitely Whitney. She's really hot, but that little bitch gave me so much hell with her Miltank.

Next in line would be Flannery (who, I might add, is at least twice as hot as Whitney ) of Hoenn (RSE). I had no Water types when I squared off with her, so... yeah.

Mauville City's leader Wattson in Emerald was very tough. If you didn't pick Mudkip you are in for some seriously tough fighting.

Oh, and OFF COURSE Norman in Petalburg City with his mighty Slaking. God, I hated that battle. You had to beat him to get that all-important Surf move.

Oh, this too. Didn't help that Norman's gym was one to backtrack to, so you had no new trainers/routes to levelgrind with since Flannery D:
