Please dont take this the wrong way but I was just wondering is this normal. Over the past few weeks I have notice alot more "Trolls" coming around than before. This is one of my favorite forums to talk games due to the fact that there seems to be alot less Trolls here than any other forum site. Its just that I notice as I said that there seems to be more Trolls the past few weeks. Does this have anything to do with the 3DS coming out?
Btw all you Mods and that are doing a great job keeping the trolls out, I cant say thank you enough for that. I wish other forums were better at keeping the trolls out.

Also been a few older users returning, I guess it is the 3DS affect pretty sure E3 brought a slight increase in trolling too, still this site is way better than any other I've tried at keeping the trolls out.
I know I'm fairly new here, but I didn't come here because of the 3DS...I used to go to IGN but the forums and comments here aren't clogged with bots and the users here are friendly.

I've started to come onto Nintendolife 2 years ago- on and off. Never got into the forums until recently when the 3DS rolled around and found some pretty cool people to talk to. The people who are on these forums are generally nicer and respectful compared to them other forums. There are a few here who do things to irritate and garner attention- for what ever reason, but that's them. Trolling happens but it's best to disregard them. Because most of the time, they are doing things for attention and to stand out. Don't feed them, as most say. For me, I try to ignore and disregard them unless they are targetting me. But I don't give them the full course- just an appetizer

What trolls? If there are any trolls, they are nothing compared to Orlick and Captain Jack Sparrow during NL's early years.
this. i'm not seeing a whole lot of honest-to-god trolling lately, not on the level we used to get lol — excited people posting duplicate topics, yes; young kids signing up without any knowledge of netiquette, sure; but trolling? not so much, and to be honest the trolls usually come straight to chat and wind up zapped from there, lol. when they show up in chat, they usually reveal themselves much faster, but when they show up on the forums we kinda have to give 'em enough rope to hang themselves well and properly, if you catch my drift. can't go banning someone over language barriers and accidental misunderstandings, after all.
anyway, come on, guys, don't bother paying the few genuine trolls that show up here any mind. let's all get back to our normal posting routines, shall we? :3
