I use NL and IGN as my go-to source for reviews. NL sometimes has late reviews, and IGN usually can usually tell me whether a game is utter crap or not.
i've given up on gamespot, though i used to prefer them to ign. now, it's almost all NL, but i will sometimes pop on ign for an early review, or for a second opinion on a game i'm considering buying, but... always with a discerning hand. not everything you get from ign is entirely... good.

It was mind blowing when Daemon said that Nintendo's E3 conference was the worst of the 3....I mean really!? That's exactly what Craig said.lol Proving that Daemon just dislikes NIntendo....I wonder if Miyamoto secretly flipped the guy off during his life, which would explain all of the hating.lol
He didn't just flip Daemon off. He flipped all of us off!
I use this site for reviews mainly (though I usually check IGN too if I'm on the fence about a game). I only own a Wii, and this site writes reviews in that vein, comparing games to other Wii games and the console's abilities when writing reviews, not to stuff on the PS360 (which I don't really own).
I also like that you really get the opportunity to know many of the reviewers through the forums, so you can get a feel of what their tastes are in gaming. Even if they don't frequent the forums, it's a staff large enough to be able to specialize somewhat in the types of games they review, and small enough to keep track of, so you can get a feel for how they judge games pretty easily.
Plus for downloadable games...pish...there's really not much else out there (and the bad reviews are hilarious)!

This. This is one of the main things that drew me to the site in the first place--the close-knit community. IGN treats their reviewers and editors like celebrities, which is ridiculous and gives them a false sense of entitlement.

Well, it's the only website I use for reviews definitely. Not interested in any of the others. As I believe Token Girl said, it's all about the close knit forums. COMMUNITY. When you're choosing your Nintendo review site, its important you make the right choice. It's like buying a new car, or choosing to move in to a new house. It's a big decision, and I think I made the right choice. Sniffle. Also use ONM (magazine)
Nl is definetley the site I use most for reviews, I also get each issue of onm. I think that they're are both reliable but I find nl slightly more reliable but I don't always agree with onm and nl's reviews but they're still very reliable.

I'd definitely trust actual Nintendo fans to review Wii games rather than Kotaku or IGN. That being said, I get all my Wii related reviews from here, and Nintendo related news from GoNintendo.
Nah. I think NL is much too generous most of the time. I do think the reviews NL puts up are usually pretty well done (no matter how much I may disagree with them). Crap, I'm probably getting banned now for going against the NL hivemind.
I agree that Nintendolife is often too generous with reviews, but that's probably got a lot to do with the fact it's a single platform website, and thus doesn't need to compare to the HD consoles.
Because I own a PS3, I also appreciate IGN for measuring Wii games against the HD ones. I actually tend to feel IGN is pretty fair, overall (even if it does hate on the warriors series.
