Because I certainly know I do. Bigger reviewers (like IGN) seem to forget what reviewing a game is all about. They dont like anything unless it has BIG EXPLOSIONS and repetitive gameplay. Unlike the reviewers here, who can enjoy a game for its simple, charming gameplay, and are still gamers in my eyes. So to all of you who write reviews for Nintendolife, I salute you for doing such a fine job!

Well, the only reviews on IGN I actually care for are from the Nintendo crew...But seeing as how Matt, Bozon and now Craig have jumped ship, IGN Nintendo is almost officially dead to me, the magic is practically gone and going to that site will never be the same. But I can see why Craig left, since IGN is soo anti Nintendo these days....He probably got sick of being the only one constantly had to defend NIntendo.. The major 3 key players that I can't stand at IGN, are Daemon Hatefielf, Jessica Chobot and Greg Miller.....Does anyone else feel the same way? It was mind blowing when Daemon said that Nintendo's E3 conference was the worst of the 3....I mean really!? That's exactly what Craig said.lol Proving that Daemon just dislikes NIntendo....I wonder if Miyamoto secretly flipped the guy off during his life, which would explain all of the hating.lol
Anyways, The New guy who's in charge of IGN Nintendo seems like a good guy and definitly loves nintendo and knows his stuff, but he'll never beable to fill in those big shoes that the other 3 have already left.

I never really payed that much attention to the individual people, but yes IGN is VERY anti Nintendo. I mean, PS3 and 360 had the SAME damn E3 Presentations, which is something Nintendo already utilized first. And Nintendo brings something completely new to the ballpark and IGN dismisses it with "360 has Halo, you lose". The flipping 3DS was THE gem of E3, and those idiots got so butthurt over how nobody was paying attention to Skittles the tiger. Uhg, /END RANT.

I do mostly but as the previous poster said I don't always agree either. Sometimes they are way too harsh with games I've always loved. They are still less Biased than IGN though. They seem to hate anything that isn't on the most powerful systems.

I tend to use NL as my 'deal-sealer' when deciding whether to buy a buy or not. I read ONM, but maintain a healthy scepticism about some of their reviews, reviewers and obsession with hoary old games and characters that just aren't any good any more.
Basically, if ONM and NL both like a game that I'm considering, I buy it.
@WaltzElf: IGN used to be my #1 source for reviews and opinion and had been since the 64. Like others have mentioned though, it isn't what it used to be and people are bound to comment upon their favourite review site going down the pan (especially as it is in-line with the OP). Seems pretty normal to me. What's the beef?
This is the only review/gaming site (including Kinectaku ofc) of which I am a member, but I go all over the web for reviews and usually start at Amazon.
