What, were you expecting something else?
Alrighty, I'll be serious:
Golden Sun DS
This, and I didn't even have to write it this time.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. I've never played a Silent Hill game before and i've heard the last bunch have sucked, but this game looks amazing. I got scared just reading Nintendo Power's preview!

Um as of right now... Metroid Other M.Otherwise MH3 would have to be runner up.
@OdnetninI don`t why or even how Scribblenauts is going to be that great? I mean IMO it looks like an improved sequel thing... to Drawn to Life which isn`t saying much. And beating great DS hits like TWEWY, NSMB, Zelda PH, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, and many more is just over hyping it too much don`t you think?
Just for you.

All games have been either on the Wii or DS.
Even thought I don't own a PS3, my vote goes to Gran Turismo 5. This is the reason why I wanted a Playstation 3 so badly and with the price cut, I'm going to get one someday, in fact, maybe even by Christmas.
Or if I have to own the console, NHL 2K10 for the Wii.

@Chrono+Cross Ahem... Even the actual sequel to Drawn to Life seems to be very much improved, though 5TH Cell has stated Scribblenauts is much more ambitious than any of their other projects. Everything else aside, they are a much more experienced developer now, and their last game, Lock's Quest, was no slouch. The bottom line: people have PLAYED Scribblenauts, and loved it. It has some pretty stiff competition, but do you think being chosen as the first-ever portable Best Game of Show by major gaming sites, and winning many other awards from them and others is false praise? Do you find any faults in my argument(s)?

I have a fault in you argument. I do not agree that Scribblenauts is going to be better than Mario & Luigi:Bowser's Inside Story and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Scribblenauts might be a good game, but is it the best DS game ever? I disagree.

Either Bowser's Inside Story or Mario Galaxy 2.

I wasn't directing the question at you, and not agreeing with me isn't the same as finding an actual fault in my argument, but OK. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days doesn't really count because it comes out after Scribblenauts, and I was implying that it would be the best of every DS game released up to the point of its release. (Don't get me wrong, though; I am immensely looking forward to KH.) Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story has enormous potential, and it does indeed come out before Scribble. It, however, does not bring nearly as much revolutionary gameplay to the table as my GotY. For this reason alone I think I will have more fun playing it than M & L. Alas, I really don't want to make a competition out of these games, because they all look excellent in their own rights, but I think I've made it clear why I (and others) will love Scribblenauts like no other game before it.

1. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 [Maybe I should trade my PS1 for a PS2? Hmmm..........]2. Seiken Densetsu 3/Secret of Mana 2 for the DS - Should they ever officially localize the SFC game to Western shores with a DS port. I've yet to beat Seiken Densetsu 2/Secret of Mana, but I am so close.3. Dragon Quest VI for the DS - Technically, I've yet to play any of the DQ games, but I'm planning on starting with 5.

Since there are so many games that seem awesome, I'm going to pick 3rd party and pick this year. So the answer is Silent Hill. If I set up a broader criteria my answer would more than likely be different.
I love the fact there's a Scribblenauts fan and the game's not even out. It looks awesome though. And to Chrono Cross, it's no more a sequel to Drawn to Life than Zelda is to Mario. What was with the comparison? To be a sequel to a game that involves drawing it'd have to, you know, involve drawing.

I know you were not directing the question at me. But, I just felt like stating my opinion. I don't mind Scribblenauts at all, maybe it will be an awesome game [which it deftinely looks like]. But hey, each person has their own favorite game.
