(In Scott Hall voice) Hey, yo! It's survey time! Very simple, what game systems (both console and portable) do you or did you once own? Even if they're in the closet collecting dust, or long gone from a garage sale! Here's my list to get it started (in chronological order that I got them):
1. Vectrex (Sitting in my closet, in case I feel nostalgic) 2. Intellivision (Boxed away in storage shed. See: "No TV for Old Consoles") 3. Atari 2600 (Same as Intellivision) 4. NES (Have two front-loading classic and one top-loading, which is presently hooked up to my TV) 5. Game Boy (Working, but part of the left and right side of the screen are dead or something...Also have Super Game Boy for SNES) 6. Super NES (One classic model, one new model, which is hooked up to my TV) 7. Nintendo 64 (Classic charcoal-colored, hooked up to TV, complete with expansion pak for DK 64, Perfect Dark) 8. PlayStation (Original model PS, no longer working though ) 9. Game Boy Color (Currently batteried, in case I'm in the mood to Game Boy old skool) 10. PlayStation 2 (Original model, STILL hooked up to TV, since friggin Sony doesn't have backward compatibility on any PS3 made for years) 11. Nintendo GameCube (Original black, hooked up to TV, with Game Boy Player attached for big screen GBA action) 12. Game Boy Advance (Original purple-colored, collecting dust since I have DS and Game Boy Player) 13. Nintendo DS ("Phat" DS, teal-colored Nintendogs edition, collecting no dust until 3DS arrives) 14. Nintendo Wii (Good ole good guy white Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, presently hooked up to my TV, of course) 15. PSP (Silver PSP-2000 model, with cable to play on my TV, all ready for Duodecim Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy yadda, yadda, yadda) 16. Xbox 360 (Original model, Red Ring of Death-less [knock on wood] XBox 360, hooked up to my TV) 17. PlayStation 3 (Original model PS3 WITHOUT friggin PS2 backward compatibility, presently hooked up to my TV) 18. iPod Touch (Presently hooked up to my... iPod speakers! Don't worry, I have a cable to hook it up to my TV too ) 19. Nintendo 3DS (Cosmo black, bought on launch day in America)
Two different times, I've bought four Nintendo systems in a row. Now, 3DS will break a Big N losing streak of four straight non-Nintendo systems! Got a desktop and laptop, but don't play games on them.
UPDATE 4/7/11: Updated the list to officially include my shiny new 3DS. That makes my 19th game system. I guess Sony NGP will take me out of the teens and into the twenties when it's released!
I've owned: Game Boy Advance SP (x4 for Multiplayer) Gamecube (LoZ artwork. Unfortunately died, but got £500 for it even though it was dead due to the LoZ artwork) Xbox360 (Died due to RRoD)
Currently owned: Game Boy Color (Locked safely away gathering historic dust) Game Boy Advance (Same place as the Color) Wii DSi Gaming Computer
Handhelds: Game Gear Game Boy Game Boy Color Game Boy Advance Game Boy Advance SP Game Boy Micro(my brother's) DSphat ( don't own anymore) DSlite DSi (my bro's) 3DS (in 25 days :3)
Wii, GCN, PS2, Xbox, SNES, NES, PSP, Ipod, and GBC. I used to own a GBA and my brother owns a DS and a soon-to-be 3DS.
