Sounds about right.

Lol! That's exactly where I was! Must be the RPG in us!
RPG?
I suspect my views changed when I discovered the world wasn't as black-and-white as I thought it was. Also, when I began developing in earnest a sense of empathy for others.
Right-wing libertarianism is a lot of fun, but it is awfully heartless.
Sounds about right.

That cuts deep, dude

Dunno what this means,But I'll have to agree with this.
Slightly economically left-wing, and perfectly balanced with regards to social freedoms. You're neither very restrictive nor very permissive with your beliefs.
I've done this test many times, always usually come out the same spot.
Who do ya prefer Bankai? Liberal or Labor?
Don't worry, I won't argue as I prefer neither, and I won't be old enough to vote until a month after the election.
For those of you who don't know who I am, I'm Kirby95, I just changed my username.

I actually vote exclusively for the Socialist Alliance and give preferences to the Greens.

Indeed. No offense meant. It was a bit of a broad statement, anyway, considering how many different kinds of libertarians there are. Some only seem to care about pot, some are really just civil libertarians, some are concerned about all abuses of power by government, some are essentially just conservatives who don't mind beefing up military programs but see some huge violation of liberty at work when a government program helps make a poverty-stricken family's life slightly less destitute and hellish, some are Rothbardian anarchists, etc. etc.
Which variety are you, if you don't mind my asking?

So I took the test again, this time more sure of my answers and changing my answers on abortion, since what I think of it and what we should do about it are two different things.
My economic views haven't changed, whereas my social put me smack-dab in the middle. Interesting.
BTW, not trying to rain on your guys' parade, but could we keep the political discussion to a minimum and stick to the main focus of the thread? The way this is going I can see this turning into a flame war and then getting locked..

this. i've been keeping an eye out and deleting comments that delve too far into the realm of hot-button issues, but eventually it'll spiral out of control while i'm busy doing something else. it's only a matter of time. i've been channeling my inner cynic lately :3

Uh...
Are you sure you're a RIGHT-WING libertarian...?
Australia doesn't really have any politicians who sit in the purple quadrant, and I have far more in common with the green than the blue (in fact when I was younger I was way, way in the green).
I assume that I ended up in purple because, while I believe wholeheartedly in personal freedoms, I am also very much pro-corporation. Being pro-corporation isn't enough to put me far in the purple, which is why I score more 'extreme' in terms of libertarianism than I did on the 'left/ right' axis.

Actually for once I think this has been pretty dang civil and interesting to me at the same time. Not sure how much TBD has had to mod out but this topic has been dang tame.
