So what rule did I break? Or do the mods just feel like deleting whatever they want to.

Bringing up the subject of Politics? Or, maybe that's just me.

So you are not allowed to talk about politics? How come?

What topic are you referring to N64 Gamer?
Plain old gamer :)
6. Posted: Tue 6th Oct 2009 23:35 BST
Dunno. I guess that's one of the three things not to talk about in public; the other two being Religion and the Great Pumpkin (jkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjk).

My thread was "Is political correctness a governmental brainwashing?"
8. Posted: Tue 6th Oct 2009 23:36 BST
It's gone probably because threads like these usually lead to bad arguments. But that's just me.

This comes from a user not interested in politics, but, the mere mention of it can bring up tons of arguments. Why else would Republicans go after the Democrats, and vice versa?
10. Posted: Tue 6th Oct 2009 23:39 BST
Everything can be turned into "bad arguments". Why punish the subject? Why not punish the bad debators? There are some people who can have mature debates without it turning into a flamewar.
11. Posted: Tue 6th Oct 2009 23:42 BST
@N64 Gamer: Yeah, but you can never forget that one person who likes to start flamewars.

Heh heh. Debators.

I meant debaters.

In risk of sounding insensitive, here's a message to new users: remember, kids, don't talk about big stuff like politics and you'll be a-okay.Did I offend anybody? I hope not.

@StarBoy"That's why you're still a kid."
@N64Not sure why the thread was deleted, other than perhaps it simply being a question you tossed out there without adding any of your own thoughts in response. If you're going to start topics, it's best to add some value to them in your first post instead of pretty much saying "discuss."

One good look at the topic's title, and I predicted that the thread would be deleted. Never noticed until now, but it looks like I was right.

I deleted it. From the biased/inflammatory subject line to the first reply to the OP (filled with US-bashing), I did not see anything but a major (and possibly nasty) argument coming from that thread, so I chose to take it out early. If you feel I jumped the gun, N64 Gamer, I do apologize, but please understand that from the way it began, I could see no good coming from that thread at all.
... and now that we all know where that thread went, I'm locking this one. Mystery solved.
