yeah, corporate told us we were not promoting things enough (when they called a coworker just said "thank you for calling gamestop how can I help?") so now my manager is REALLY pushing the phone thing. I once got the speech out and the guy forgot his question by the time I was done. All he could say was "WOW your lung capacity is HUGE, you did all that in one breath!"
Hilarious.
What I REALLY hate is when you answer the phone, give your spiel, and the caller immediately asks a question you just preemptively answered. Just proves the spiels are pointless, since nobody pays any freaking attention. My previous manager said he's had people ask THREE questions that were covered in the spiel! People are so stupid...nothing like working retail to impress that fact on a person, eh?
Oh, and tomorrow I'll wake up and check the VC release, most likely to be disappointed as usual.

Tomorrow, I will wake up and try to squeeze in a little entertainment before work. Unless I somehow grossly oversleep, in which case I'll just rush for work. I certainly hope that won't be the case though, seeing that my shift doesn't start for another twelve hours and I'm planning to go to bed pretty soon.
