Good question. If there was a nineteen hundred ten, then I'll bet there'll be a thousand ten.

Two thousands ten.

considering it's 'nineteen ten', i'd imagine 'twenty ten' would catch on fairly quickly, though 'two-thousand ten' would also be popular. so... both?

Two Thousand and Ten, or Two Thousand-Ten, or Maybe Two Thousand X.
Nah, I'm just kidding about the last one.

20XX is what I've been using every time I write the date ever since 2000. Mega Man has already proven that this is how people in the future write dates, so we might as well start acting like it now.
Come on, friends,

I'm going to be like the Dolphins and Aliens and only verbally pronounce it by the visual impressions I get from its Roman Numerals.

@Adam: ... i thought that was an actual year by itself, though? I usually pronounce that as 'twenty ecksty-ecks' myself... Mega Man is in a timeline all his own.

When I first read the title thread, I thought "What a dumb question." I'm saying two thousand and nine now so I will say two thousand and ten next year. But now I read through the thread, I realise that before 2000, I said nineteen ninty nine. So why wouldn't I say twinty ten?
So thanks Turbo Genesis 64, now my mind is all screwed up because of your question.
