I have noticed many gamers have strange habits when it comes to games. For example when I'm playing a racing game like Mario Kart I tend to lean when I make turns as if I'm really racing.

I do the leaning thing as well on the rare occasions I'm playing a racing game. My wife has noted when watching me play games in the past that I make varous "mouth movements" which are completely unconscious. I will also do a bit of swearing at the screen (though not actual rage/madness) if I experience a cheap or repeated death -- normally with arcade games.
One of them is yelling at anybody who's nearby when I lose, when I think I should of won. Also, I tend to be overprotective of my consoles, and for good reason! My brother went through three DS Lites
Well, my friend Arlo is crazy sometimes. I have seen him throw controllers at the wall and punch his computer monitor. So I'm pretty tame compared to him.

If I'm really enjoying a game, I find myself humming the music to it (either an overworld theme or main title theme). As a kid, I used to make up lyrics to games like Super Mario RPG: LotSS while listening to the intro or while in some town. If the character falls off a ledge I'm being careful about or an enemy comes outta nowhere and div-bombs said character, I usually mutter something like "Why you little..." and either leave it at that or make up something to it even if it doesn't make sense ("...egg snapper"). As weird as it sounds, I also tend to try and be a 'perfectionist' at living. I'll actually restart a game almost instantly (goodbye hour of progress...) if a character dies in a game that has a death counter or penalties for someone biting the dust. Needless to say, Skies of Arcadia will never have zeros next to everyone's names. : ( Finally, when playing a something like an RTS game I tend to make strategies for everything right off the bat. (Trust me, it gets a bit detailed depending on the game.) Based on these strategies I make (both consciously and subconsciously), I can usually have a level 57 character take down a level 80 enemy. I'm sure others can do better, but that's where I stand.
In RPG's, whenever possible I have a female in the lead on-screen. This made Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World not as fun because my Sheena-beena couldn't be my lead character. ... or Delicious Axe Loli Presea. ....or Clumsy Collette.
Oh, and in Melee/Brawl, I kind of have a habit of "honor" regarding certain weapons. If I have the ray gun, I'll use it a couple of times on someone, and if they get near the edge I'll throw the gun behind me. I can't stand getting knocked off the edge with the ray gun, so I don't want other people to feel that way. Same thing with the Super Scope, I rarely use the rapid fire. I might for a few seconds, but it gets old fast when I'm not doing the shooting, and it slows down the battle to an annoying crawl. But, I have no problem charging it up and hitting people with it, then throwing the dry load Super Scope at someone else.

Another weird gamer habit is if I'm playing a game like Monster Rancher I give the characters weird little names. I once named a Suezo "Iseeyou". Once when I was playing Pokemon Ruby I named my Mudkip "Bluefishy". On Final Fantasy X I named Titus "Sexy". But the weirdest name I have ever created was the name for the main dude on FF9 where I called him "MonkeyBallz".

I think my cousin comes close to this, calling Link in Zelda: Wind Waker "ABC123." Mind you, this was years ago and she 'didn't care.'
I prefer female characters over male characters, sometimes for no reason other than that they're female. People tend to make fun of me for that reason, which is one of the reasons that I play single-player most of the time.
If I like the music in the game, I hum along with it constantly.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Yay! I knew I wasn't the only person out there like this!

Geez ... aren't you like the daughter of a preacher? I thought I read that somewhere on the forums.

When I used to play Civilizations on the PC (which was...like...dozens of hours out of any given week around age 13) I would name all of my town after diseases or disorders. No idea why. I don't even know if I thought it was funny.
I use the music from video games as my ringtones (currently super mario). Also, I'd probably name my pets after characters, but unfortunatley my husband has a say in that as well. (Kirby is way cuter than Socks).
This isn't exactly gaming related, but when I'm talking to friends whilst playing games / on the lappy via IM, I always read aloud what I've written once it's sent, and it really annoys me.
