@ReaderRagfihs I mean, just because I prefer to play games on easier modes does not mean that I will eat up any game that is easier than its previous entries without any thought. I see LGP/E as very cheaply done (the region just being a super conservative 2.5D remake of a GB region for example), I find the Kanto pandering annoying (I sure as heck don't want to play a game with only the original 151 Pokemon ever again) and I hate the forced motion control/gyroscope controls.
All of the same, I have negative opinions over The Sims 4. They are not related to the lower difficulty, but instead related to the lack of any revolutionary feature in the base game, the lack of open world, and other features that make it inferior to The Sims 3.
There's much larger problems with these games than having an easier difficulty (which isn't a problem for me, but I do think games should have difficulty settings so everyone can play how they want).
I'm normally very good at platformers, action/adventure, and racing games. I'm all right at RPGs as well. I'm no good at strategy and fighting games - the only fighting game I'm decent at is Smash Bros.
