Topic: What's your favorite Mario game?

My favorite Mario game is Super Mario 64. I receive that game when I was 6-7,and I fell in love with that game. I was able to get 70 stars and defeat Bowser for the 3rd time back then. But,I never could get all 120 stars when I was a kid. But,when I got the VC version,that changed very quickly.
It will always be my favorite Mario game...for now.

Honestly I can't really decide. World was fun, but I tired of it after long. Super Mario Bros. 3 is great. Galaxy is good, but I find something lacking in it. I own 64 on the DS, but the controls (touch and d-pad) are awful. Yoshi's Island is awesome.

You know, I'd have to say Super Mario Kart, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Yoshi's Island are tied for my favorite.

Edit: New Super Mario Bros. Wii will soon be my favorite.

I remember that in my library, we had this game on the computer that was mario board games, and me and my friends would play go fish and Mario would always say "Uh-oh Mario go a-fishey!!"

Super Mario World, definitly. I had it for the SNES way back when and i also bought if for the VC. My and my sister could play that game for hours.

In the main series: Super Mario World. Spin-offs: Mario Kart 64.

Super Mario 64.

Super Mario Galaxy. Haven't played enough of World yet.

Super Mario World is awesome! If my mom would let me I would play it all day! (If I had it...)

Galaxy is my fave. Followed closely by Super Mario Bros. on NES

When talking about personal preferences, It's a tie between Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Bros. 2. SMB2 it's the Mario game I played the most in my childhood, and there's no better 3D platformer than SM64 imo.

But if anyone asks me which is the best Mario game ever, I must say: Super Mario Bros. 3

I'm at the end of Super Mario Galaxy, and I have to admit, it's better than Mario 64, which was an amazing game. I'm going to have to go with Galaxy. I haven't spent too much time with many of the 2D games yet, but I do prefer the 3D style, so I doubt any of them will top Galaxy for me personally. Galaxy 2 on the other hand...

I like them all almost equally. I'll say SMG, cos it raised more emotions in me than the rest.

Super Mario World. It was the first game I've ever played, and still my favorite mario game.

Out of the main Marios, Sunshine and Galaxy 2 are undoubtedly my top 2, Galaxy 2 is undoubtedly better but shorter, and Sunshine holds far more and much greater memories for me, so this round goes to Sunshine.
