I was bitten by a venomous snake (baby Copperhead) once, it didn't inject venom with the bite though.
That was lucky. Baby snakes don't have good control of how much venom they release when they bite. That means that a baby snake could use all of its stored venom in one bite, which would be very deadly. For that reason, baby snake bites can be worse than adult snake bites.
Very true. Then again it was a Copperhead, so even if there was venom I wouldn't have been in mortal danger. Still would have been extremely painful and my hand would've ended up looking like a red balloon.
