Probably something on the Sega Master System because my older brother had one. A system which, believe it or not, actually sold as well as the NES in PAL regions. So either My Hero or Alex Kidd. Although my brother also had Chase HQ, Sonic 2 and Astro Warrior from what I can remember. I played a bit of all of them. I also played a few games on PC. Yay for DOS! I only remember a few of them. One Must Fall and The Lion King come to mind but I think they were a bit later. Captain Comic maybe?
I got my own console a couple of years later, first a Gameboy (my first two games were Mario & Yoshi, Donkey Kong Land) then a SNES (Super Mario Kart, Super Mario World). Those were the first games that were "mine".
Now that I think of it, one of my earliest "gaming" memories is the game "Ozzie's World". I just had to use google to find the correct name for that game. It's one of those "click on random stuff and random things happen" educative games for small kids,
I think I used to play it a lot on my dad's old computer...
Another one, I also had a "drawing pad"-like toy that connected to the TV and you could draw, color, put stickers on premade backgrounds and (I think) play tangram. I wonder if it still exists.
Probably some game on the N64, GCN, Xbox, DreamCast or Game Boy. Probably a game on the N64.
All I know is that I've had been playing games in one form or another even before the earliest period embedded in my memory...
The first console I ever owned was a DS lite gifted to me by my mom and dad. The first games they got for me were brain age 2, and, rather unfortunately, personal trainer math. Not exactly the best games to start out with, but I was just happy to have a DS lite of my own (since my friends all had one at the time).

Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt for the NES. I think I tried Duck Hunt first... I remember standing really close to the TV screen... and not doing too well! XD I was only four, so I don't remember much after that. My parents also had Super Mario Bros. 3 and some other NES games, and that's where my love for gaming began!
I'd always use the stick controller because you'd never accidentally hit the diagonal. Nintendo kids never had that issue I assume. I remember thinking the D-Pad on my GameBoy when I got it was the most amazing thing ever....
I believe it was either Tetris or Super Mario Land 2 for the original Game Boy. I think that iteration of Tetris is obsolete having Tetris DS in my collection, but Super Mario Land II remains a solid, unique experience in the Super Mario franchise for me to this day.

I think I've answered this before on this site. Anyway, probably some arcade game port on an Atari 800 computer, like Pac-Man or Donkey Kong. The first one I really remember is Spyro the Dragon—one of my first games and one of the best.
