My avatar is Armakuni from the cover of the game 'The Last Ninja' (on C64). This was my favourite game of my childhood, and a game I still enjoy playing immensely.

As an aside, rumours allege that Armakuni was modelled on a mythical assassin of legendary talents who turned informant on his employers after they enlisted him to assassinate Steven Hawking via a freak run-away wheelchair accident (which involved a jump over SEVEN school buses, a triple backflip and culminating in a fatal firework explosion). Some people believe this person to be none other than Corbie - the steely eyed killer of shmups, the master of the wii shaft.

Mine is a screen shot from the futuristic sports game "Ballblazer," one of the first titles developed by Lucasfilm Games. The game is a classic. I'm not even a big sports fan, but this game is just so addictive and sleek for its time. I would love to see it come to the Wii via the C64 port on the VC or even an updated remake.

A Boy And His Blob

Mine is now Flint from Mother 3. I previously was rocking a Boy and His Blob picture from the upcoming sequel, but while I still look forward to it very much, the excitement has died down in the absence of further news. Mother 3 will never get old though, so I think I've got a permanent avy this time. Plus, now Locke and I don't have to have a ABAHB avatar fight.
