The amazing unbiased reviews, the great to-the-point articles only about things that matter, and the awesome moderation staff.
as for me, my favorite part of this place is the community, filled with users who never mock one another, who are not only respectful and polite to one another at all times — even when fully entrenched within a heated argument — but are also possessed of that all-important trait known as 'tact'.
I love the amount of effort @CJM puts into his trolling. He's a rare, fading breed of actually funny trolls, who don't just go around bashing people for nothing.
I love the community and how the mod(S) actually moderate the site. I have been to plenty of sites where F bombs are dropped constantly and alot of trolling and other negative stuff goes on and the mods dont do anything about it even when people report it.
I also like the unbiased reviews that the staff gives. Alot of other site give a Call of Duty game a 10 just because its a CoD game. Nintendo Life reviewers aren't afraid to say that a games sucks and give it a low score when it actually deserves it. I think in all of the reviews I read only one review I didn't agree with otherwise the reviews were pretty much right on the money, which in the end has save me alot of money and helped me choose some truly great games.

I was first drawn here by the fact that they review every game, including every download (which is quite rare), and they're quick (with downloads, every game is always reviewed in a week, which is even rarer on the internet than reviewing the downloads in the first place. Other sites can take months to get to a particular download, and that's if they decide it's worth their time in the first place).
Also, the community is (mostly) civil , and it works fine on my 3DS (even the full site, although this new mobile version is much appreciated).

so far everything has been great for me on nintendolife and i havent been here long and i hope it stays this way i know lots of people i heard quit cause all the drama ish stuff happening i still think @mieu-fire isnt comeing back cause he wants to focus on youtube he said that on his youtube channel and a guy name @mickeymac left idk who that is but he left
^I knew I haven't saw Mickeymac in awhile! If he really did leave, that means the anime forum is going to be really quiet (he pretty much ran that place).

As @RR529 said their coverage on downloads is excellent, especially with every download being reviewed. The best thing about the site though is definitely the community as there are many great, friendly and helpful users. It may not always be that pleasant on the forums but its far more civil here than on any other site I've been on.

^ This.
You just have to love the community as a whole, and the fact that you can actually look through a forum page or an articles comment section without seeing swearing.
The review quality is also something to brag about, as well as the staff in general.
If you want professionally written reviews, Destructoid, Screw Attack, and Machinima are much better choices.
Professional, Destructoid, they go together like pickled turnips and deep-fat fried fruit cake, atleast from what I've seen from their reviews, and there is a lot to be desired from other parts of the site, I do go to Screw Attack often, never heard of Machinima, though. (Yar she blows, one o' them scurvy thread de-railers, x_o even though I'm a pirate and I don't know anything about trains and rails since they won't be made for a hundred years. )

TBD, Zez, seriously, stop messing with the calendar! Just because you missed True [s]Cake[/s] Cake day last month doesn't mean you can try to make up by being True [s]Cake[/s] Cake today, geez, how did the Maya deal with these kind of people?
