I think it was a comment on a retro review of Wario World for the GameCube in early 2011. I think they gave it 6/10 and as I was rather fond of that game, I thought it was a tad harsh, so I was sticking up for it.
I got up to quite a bit on my first day here at Nintendo Life. My first ever post was here: https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/3dsvc/post_your_3ds_virtua...
I ended up downloading Super Mario land 2 a few days later and I never ended up downloading Donkey Kong for the Game Boy.
My first comment on a news story was here: https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2011/10/interview_gameloft_l...
I never actually got around to downloading Lets Golf! 3D though. I created a thread just for for me where I could 3DS friends titled "Please be my friend!!!". I got two comments saying that I should just post on the 3DS friend code forum but I didn't want to because I wanted this thread just for me. I then got a comment from James welcoming me and telling me to just post on the 3DS friend code forum. The topic then got locked. I decided to email Nintendo Life because I was so concerned that wouldn't be able to get any friends and I didn't know what locking was. After getting an email from James explaining everything, I decided to delete the thread and just post on the 3DS friend code thread. Also, at the time the Spot Pass feature for my Dead or Alive: Dimensions wasn't working, so I created this thread: https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/help/dead_or_alive_dimensi...
I don't really care anymore if it doesn't work or not. So that was my first day at Nintendo Life.
Well i found this game to be great . I downloaded it because it sounded a bit like Advance Wars before i read any reviews (silly me). And it turned out great i would even be willing to pay 1200 for a game like this . Great
This is actually Before NintendoLife when they only had a tiny site called Virtual Console Reviews
I would have expected it was something obnoxious or "Shut up, Eugene." But I forgot the forum came later. My first comment was sharing a video of a Luc Bernard game (his games for Wii turned out so great) and a link to his MySpace..... What the heck, Nintendolife, we're old.
